Hey all!

I am cleaning my tanks and cartomizers(all ce2's) every other day because of the burnt taste :(

After cleaning they are good for a day then go to crap. Is there a way to prevent or to lessen the likelyhood of getting the burnt taste at all?

It happens with all my liquids, only vaping at 3.7v at 2.4-2.6ohm

Thanks!

I personally like the 2,4 ohm on my eGo batts at 3.2v. I like the 2.8 ohm at 3.7v. You could try moving up to 2.8 ohm the next time you purchase a box.

That said: How much use did you get before the first cleaning? It could be your juice has a tendency to gunk up the coil. And, are you burning your wicks when you do your cleaning? So, I'm trying to determine if your E2's are wicking right first of all, and second if you are using a juice that will crud them up faster than some other juice might.

Lastly: Cartos are disposable. When they don't perform properly for any reason, I throw them away and get out a fresh one. Cleaning can extend the life and I will occasionally clean one, but generally, I toss them and start with a fresh one.

When you clean your clearos, be sure to give them a few dry burns. Just until the coil glows red; if you can see the individual wire wrappings, should be good to go. If you see a 'clump of crud' just keep hitting your button for ~5 seconds at a time until this burns away; be sure to allow some cool down time between button hits. I've had pretty good luck with this technique so far (knock on wood). Some juices leave a lot of 'debris' behind and this needs to be burned off.

Use this technique at your own risk. You cannot hold TomCatt nor any of his family, friends, associates, casual acquaintances or anyone who may have seen him while walking down the street responsible for any damage this suggestion may cause.
