Yes, your name change went through fast, huh?...

They seem ok. It also looks like you could slip out the silica and slide cotton in (after you've tried a few, and you get adventurous).

Also, from reading the reviews, you should probably get some different resistance levels.

Lastly, I'd be happy to make you a few coils to get you started. PM me if you want.

i have a better idea....take a bit of wick and hold it on a pin if you have to (i like big fat silica) - wrap it 4 times. Sooner or later you have to and it's easy! Or look up one of SXD's microcoils and just thread some cotton wool thru it.

Nothing is more forgiving and easy as a Reomizer - you'll have to really go some to make a bad coil or short it ( i tried ).

edit: perhaps he can come round for Sunday dinner and vape it for me too!

thanks to both of you :)

I will think about it some more. I know the vid Rob made looks very easy but i need to get tools like a magnifier head set with leds and other things. I was just wanting to space out buying things.Next month is another REO Grand and the reomizer and then i will be set for the month :)

I need a purple or red sparkly REO. Actually i need both but only one at a time. I have the reo fever!

Ok so i am getting a reomizer soon and wondered if these would work on it. Rebuildable Atomizer Coils - Avid Vaper in case i need them to begin with o_O. I have no confidence in being able to make coils :(

i would rather just buy them already made for a while...

is that really 5 bucks per coil?

i got some of these but havent tried them yet Pre Made Quad Wicks and Coil
no idea if they're any good, but i'll probably try one out monday. i'd be happy to mail you a handful to use as a backup, while you learn making your own. i managed to make one with some physical limitations. so it sounds scarier than it really is.

then there's these, which seem a bit more reasonable.

Thanks dwallen, i will wait and see what happens. I had just wanted to know and thanks for the offer and i am checking out the links.

Avid vaper has this, There are 5 in the package: "Each package includes 5 pre-wound coils and wicks"

Thank you pdib for your offer also :)

aah. i misread it. 5 bucks for 5 coils isn't shabby.

good grief folks - i make coils all the time - i'll send you some of mine for nothing - all you have to do is screw them in the atomiser. $5 a coil - lmao - no no no.

Trust me - coils are frustrating to start and easier as time elapses. Until you go 'pfft - what's all the fuss about?'

pdib ofc is a master of various coils. So the best teacher ;)

Sheesh guys stop being so silly. Don't pay for coils!

Let your fellow 'nauts help you out until you get comfortable doing it yourself. If you just want to be lazy and don't want to get comfortable doing it yourself then buy the materials and let your fellow 'nauts help you out at a fraction of the cost. $1 per wick&coil isn't too bad.. but 10¢ per wick&coil is 10 times better! :p

you are nice supertrunker :)

When I was considering a RBA I didn't know if I could do the coils. So I decided to practice on something.

I took a twist tie and removed the plastic coating. Grabbed a little screw driver and wrapped the wire around it. Then took it off, straightened the wire and did it again.

I saw that making coils would be fairly easy. I knew I could see to do it too.

The part that takes more time and patience is putting the coil on right. Lining it up correctly, and threading the ends through those little post holes.

Grab a little wire and try playing making coils.

hi Statistic, i missed seeing your post, i think we were posting at the same time. You are nice also and it is great to belong to a group who is so supportive and generous!

I am glad to have REOs in my name because from my first REO i knew this could be the one mod that did everything i needed. When i came here and met you all I was convinced...

REOs and their owners are all that!!!

btw don't be so modest supertrunker :)

You know i only want premade coils so when i am learning to vape my atty properly it will be one less thing to worry about. It is kinda scary because atty's make more noise and get hotter than cartos. At least the LR 2.0, 510 attys i have bought.

Only one small problem.... The attys that I used on my REO made no noise. The only time I got them to make noise was when I had flooded them, or was on the verge of flooding them.

Untill I got my RM2 I always used cartos, the first couple of things that struck me when I started with the RM2 were-first flavor was really better, second, they are so quiet! Cartos and attys have a sound when you draw on them, the RM2s are silent. I think you may be worried about something that you don't need to be. Wrapping a coil is so easy, like Nerak said, get some wire and practice while you are waiting, if they aren't absolutely perfect, I bet they will still vape! You can get some reading glasses at Walmart and if you have a lamp at your workspace, you really are good to go. I have glasses with perscription lenses in them that are 4 times magnified. I got them when Sears had their 2 pair of glasses for $99. They work great for me with a good lamp at my desk.

I used to worry about vaping a box mod in public until last week when i vaped at my Doctors office :) REOs are awesome.

The saved money could go into the "my next Reo fund".

I have a small lot of pre-made coils sitting in my stash you're welcome to. I got them when I bought my first RBA some time ago. Once I found out how easy they were to make never touched them again. I'll never use them.

13 of them - PM me your address and I will pop them in an envelope all mail'em to you.

They are lonely and unloved - plus it will do me a favor by reducing my ever growing pile of stuff I don't use anymore....
