I admit, it does sound extreme... This is the hotel in Beverly Hills where they filmed "Pretty Woman" right off Rodeo drive. The whole thing was a treat for my wife - I'd be happy in the Motel 6. Everything at the Wilshire is priced outrageously. On a bright note the service was unbelievable though.
