Anyone else bewildered by the price of mods? I mean sure there are some nicer, fancier models but they are basically flashlights with an atomizer/carto thread instead of bulb (yes with some added electronics but they r cheap parts)?

Am I the only one who thinks this stuff is way overpriced? Is it because generally speaking it's not a huge market?

Grab yourself a piece of wood and carve out a Woodvil and you will quickly see why they cost what they do.
How much do you earn per hour?

Yes the material to make a tube costs nickles and dimes, now find the price of the machines used to turn out that tube.

Tj, I meant no disrespect I can appreciate quality craftsmanship.....im talking manufactured....not jim bob putting them together in his basement- those are generally a good deal anyway considering it takes them 10-20 mins with household tools...ive never made one, but ive repaired a few....but in regards to box mods that are simply battery boxes....or generic tube mods....a lot of cheap chinese made stuff that is marked up...a lot...it is overpriced despite overhead...I know people have to earn a living

I don't mind spending a few bucks more for quality at all.

what does a couple of cartons of cigs cost ?? and what does it do to your health ??? I would rather pay the price for a mod than get sick & maybe die from big tobacco !!! my 2 cents !

You are paying so that you do not have to put it together your self. Box mod kits are sold over at mad-vapes or you can find instructions on how to make the "puck" from radioshack parts. If you are talking about the VV tube mods, there is actually a decent amount of work that is involved.
