Which tank are you using on your ARC?
Slider CS Air Tank
Slider 2 Tank
Tornado EX2 Tank
or something else?
The EX coils may be on the small side if you are vaping constantly and/or at more than 12W.

Rebuildable tank atomizer. Instead of paying through the ear (and waiting a month) for coils you screw in, you get 20 cm of an appropriate wire, wrap it around a nail/screwdriver/coil jig/whatever works for you, stuff some cotton or rayon through it, and 10 minutes later you have a 10 cent (or pence) coil that vapes beautifully (at least after some practice wicking. The first few tries may fail to vape, vape anemically or leak over everything.)

The rebuildables forum is a good place to learn more and to get suggestions for RTAs that might suit you.

Where is the tank on these RTA,s

On top of (or possibly under) the build deck, which is what you build the coil on.

Here's an RTA:

And here it is with the tank off so you can see the deck, which is where the coil goes. There are two screws sticking up. Each tail or leg of the coil goes under one of the screws.

Building the coil in a RTA is like riding a bike. You're going to have failures at first. But once you get the hang of it, it is as easy as a drop in coil. The advantages are it's much cheaper, the supplies will always be available, you can control the flavor of the vape by adjusting the build. The disadvantages are the learning curve to get to the point where the build is as easy as a drop in. Watch some YouTube videos. Here's some that can help you. Sorry I can't download the actual links.
