Priming cleaned atomizers with pure PG? (And where to buy pure PG?)

Apologies if this is a silly question, I've been googling/searching here and found some older threads about it, but so much changes with these things from month to month.

I clean my atomizers once a week in IPA, and generally re-prime them by tossing in some juice in the battery end and blowing it through. I recently got couple of new ones, and unlike the usual primer fluid, as far as I can tell these were primed with PG. As a result, I didn't have the usual awful primer fluid taste that most new attys give you.

I love a nice clean atty, but the problem is that they tend to take a while to wick up properly and get rid of the burned taste. So usually I run an extra bit of flavored juice through them to get rid of the taste. Would I be better off using pure, no-nic PG? It would seem that would be a great way to prime alcohol-cleaned (totally dry) atomizers, rather than wasting "real" eJuice on them.

In that same vein, where's the best place to buy it? Juicyvapor has some, but $55 for 60ml seems pretty expensive, considering I can get that much in flavored juice for a lot less.

Thanks!

I use plain VG in mine. Can be found in wal-mart's pharmacy in the bandaide isle. I clean mine, drip a drop on, then put it away. I clean a bunch at a time. The VG is thicker but works well. When I need a cleaned atty, I just vape off the drop of VG, drip in my juice, and I'm good.

Please don't think that anything you ask is silly. The only silly question is one that you don't ask.

If you just want a dropper bottle full (10ml or 30ml) check LiteCigUSA.net Dekang/Chinese PG juices. I know I have some unflavored PG by Dekang.
Flavorless Liquid

Re priming - I use attys with visible bridges - M401 (my starter ecig) and on 510 I use Joye 306 attys (w/ the small 306 carts or drip tip) - the bridge pokes right up where you can see it and I can apply juice to either side under the bridge and I stick some on the outer mesh too. I think being able to aim it right where I want really makes priming easier - I wait a minute or two and then it's usually fine to vape.
