Nah... McMaster makes an acceptable screw IMHO

The delrin in the 510 Classic needs to be drilled anyway to accommodate the feed...

That is true and I agree with you as I have those screws myself, however, less modification is always good when there's no need for modification :)

I was a bit surprised at how small the ID of the tubing was. At first glance I didnt think a 6-32 screw would fit, but it did, and quite nicely, very secure.
Depending on the exact type of tubing you use (what I have is dimensionally the same as recommended by gdeal, but a bit stiffer) it can be something of a PITA to get it started on the screw. It can help to shove something tapered into the end of the tubing to stretch it a bit. What amazes me is that juice doesn't seep along the threads of the screw.

I have used a hair dryer for aiding installing really stubborn tubing. A heat gun works really well, but can go really bad, really quick.....really!

One heck of a Trio you have
Thanks. There's actually a wee fourth member of the family, but I'm sworn to secrecy and can't show it yet.

The biggest problem with having these is that all my other stuff has fallen into utter disuse. Conventional DNA mods and RTAs -- I just don't feel like bothering with 'em anymore.

Really digging the way the semi-gloss came out.
Once they cure for 72 hours I'll take better pictures.

Method
  1. brush well with never used paint brush to remove print dust
  2. apply 4 to 6 light coats in alternating directions
  3. mod should look 'wet' all over
  4. let flash off for 15 minutes in warm, dry, ventilated area
  5. repeat steps 2-4 an additional 5 times

Note that when applying successive coats
Previous coat should haze over (fog up)
This is what you want, contrary to what your heart/brain complex believes
If any area isn't hazed, touch it up lightly feathering in the poly
After flashing off for about 5 minutes the poly will become clear again - don't panic, carry a towel

Now I'm sure I will get the white one. Will be ordering tomorrow.

Tell me something subjectively. I was thinking the ring and button would be the strong and flexible (grainy) and the body and cap polished. Do you think it is a good match? I don't like same look all over and I'm really digging the white for possibility of painting and because I don't have white mods :D
