So the way it is now with the SS screw the 510 is not adjustable?

Sure it is... with a.... wait for it..... screwdriver :D

I can see a tiny gap I know it's not much But the gap really bugs me.
My favourite BF a ttys are Cyclone both AFC and non Magma and Atomic :)

gdeal might not have adjusted the 510 and I don't see the upper o-ring either so my guess it is just a demo photo

ps - Cyclone is my hands down favorite too. May sell everything else, including RTAs.

So the cyclone is best for flavor. I tend to agree with you. I have not gotten to try the Odin yet. What do you think?

Shapeways parts came in today. I'm not as wild about the blue as I thought I would be. I should read better too, I didn't realize the body had the bottom face. I thought that came from the internals. Guess I didn't need colored internals

The Cerakote came in today too. I'm guessing it's opaque enough that it would go over the dyed pieces just fine? Anyone happen to know? I'm also curious as to best ratios for the hardener if anyone has some tips there. I gather that the more you add, the more glossy it looks?

Cyclone (or slightly better, the Divo) are top notch for flavor in my opinion. The chambers on those are so small, that I think they'd be hard to beat. Neither have huge vapor production with stock airflow. I might have to try to open up the air hole a bit on those just a bit.

What I like about the Odin, is that I get pretty good flavor and really good vapor. It might not have quite as much flavor as the Cyclone, but puts out WAY more vapor.

Lol...The screw is adjustable..In that picture I just put the Magma on the device. The screw is set for a Cyclone AFC and I didnt want to have to re--adjust. So if I were to use the Magma, I would just remove the top cap, grab the ss nut with a pair of needlenose pliers and then tighten down the screw about one-half to one turn. Easy....

I prefer smaller chamber attys more than larger chambers. Cyclone, Divo, etc.... The Magma is easy to coil up and has a great vape...but its like anything else...a personal choice on what you like.

I just got a blue model in today as well..Its more like a cobalt blue than a navy blue.....It a pretty wild color...

Did you get the CeraKote instruction booklet? I used the mix formula for glossy. If I were to do it again I would bump it down for Semi-glossy. I posted a pic of it a couple of days ago. I am 100% certain that if you painted the cerakote on the that blue..nothing would show through it.

The cerakote covers pretty good, although I think it will depend on your Cerakote color. For example, I am not sure that a lighter color would cover the blue in one coat. If it doesnt then put one coat on and flash it in the oven for 15 minutes and then apply a second coat and bake for 2 hours.

I just checked my oven. My lowest setting is 170 degrees. I will have to leave the door cracked open..

My oven only goes down to 175, and it worked for me.

Leaving the door cracked might actually have the opposite effect. Since it would let heat escape the burner would run more trying to keep it at temp. If you had a hot spot in there somewhere it might get well above 170.

Good point Mike.
Might also want to pre-heat for 1/2 hour so it isn't cycling as much.

Apparently my logic circuit never get switched on this morning....
