Gah, now that the DNA40 is here, I'm really going to have to build one of these, I think.

Hmmm... I'm trying to remember my paucity of of electrical engineering. Wouldn't two coils in parallel change the resistance coefficient of the NI200 as compared to a single? Wonder how the DNA sorts that out (if it is in fact even an issue.)

Nope. Resistance temperature coefficient doesn't care how many heating elements you have or whether they're in parallel or series or what not. The resistance change of the element(s) as a percentage of the "cold" resistance will not change.

Well, that settles that. Now I can try to get in on one without scientific qualm :)

Love to, whats your take on them? (Assuming your atty never got hot enough to melt them, which with the DNA40, it wont)
Rayon doesn't melt any more than cotton melts. Rayon is cellulose, just like cotton is, except it's reconstituted in a factory from wood pulp rather than grown on a plant. If over-heated, it chars or burns just like cotton. But you have to try darn hard to get it to that point. I switched to rayon back in the spring and haven't looked back. Wicks better, lasts longer, tastes cleaner.

I have cellucotton, KGD, organic cotton balls in my stash, these rayon balls are all I use. Vape-wise, they are about the same as the cellucotton, but I find they are easier to use. They are not sterile.

Like the cellucotton, you can buy them by the ton. They sell bags of 200 balls.

Balls are what's it's all about. Don't miss on balls.

I've got rayon balls too... no really, I'm talking about actual rayon balls :p

damn. once, just once, i'd like to catch the ....-end of the leading edge.

i don't even care about the bleeding edge...
