This technology would really come in handy tomorrow....Yes a much deserved day of relaxation El Dee style....Qualifying at the Z-Max Dragway in Charlotte.....I should be in the gate for 6/8 hours max....Surely would be nice not too have batteries roaming free in my pocket!! Let's hope it doesn't rain and the atty doesn't blow!!! Anybody wanna wager on how many people ask.."Is that one of those electronic cigarettes???" Hope it's some hawt woman smoker.....Iffin' she's smoking she'd better be real HAWT....Stinkies make my stomach kinda weak....burn my nose too....It's time too polish the shades and head out in the Carolina Sunshine...without a brick trowel, chainsaw or any tool excluding my trusty PeeVees......

Sounds like my kind of fun LD, haven't been to the Z-Max yet.....been busy myself getting ready for this seasons of cruzin in the Hot Rod and work keeps getting in the way. Hope the rain holds off for ya!
Hope you have a great day Dee. Sounds like fun. We can't wait to get the convertible out for a cruise but it will be awhile here.
We have a 70 Cutlass we've been restoring for a few years now. It's just about done. We just have to put it back together and replace the soft top. Bills have been slowing the process down but we're looking forward to getting it back on the road soon. Hopefully this year.

I'm back!! The Z-Max Dragway sits across from the Charlotte Motor Speedway in the Capital of Nascar...It's owned by Bruton Smith whom also owns CMS, Texas, Bristol...yeah the cats got more money than the Donald....They built 2 strips side by side and we get the 4-Wide Nationals...I guess I'm a purist and I view the 4-Wide as demeaning too the sport...Trust me 4 Funny Cars or Top Fuel Dragsters are awesome going down track...Just way too much going on too see it all...and 1/2 the number of passes...Usually I post near the finish line...Yesterday I went down too the starting line and into the pit...Quiet awesome...that pit.....
Well I'm strolling the Top Fuel pits when a lady cop approaches me...What are you smoking in that thing??? You know some people smoke "that green stuff" in those...Can you take it apart?? I did and let her smell the juice etc....Then she tell me she's seen them before and gets on too how she's a single mother and such...First time a cop has ever hit on me....Dangitt!!!!!!! Well I have been hammered with a night stick but that's a different kind of "hit on".....Look I got priorities and morals....Rolling with the Po Po....No way Jose`.........That would ruin my reputation...

I pitted one time Dee but that was back when the rails still had their motors in the front.. It's weird breathing that fuel exhaust isn't it? Allot different than gas. I bet you had a great time. Wished I could have been there. Your not ready to wallow with the pigs yet huh?
