Pro Tank 2 Issues

So, I made a post about my vivi nova and overall people said to get a protank 2.
I get a protank and i have amazing vapes!
Only for the first day then the night after i was watching a movie and left my vape tilted.
And it does not vape the same anymore.
I used to be able to vape a 3 second hit and get good flavor with good vapes and now it takes me about 8 seconds with minor vape.
I put on a new head and it still does not hit the same. Im very frustrated!

I want to know if anyone has had this problem before.

How is it not good? Taste? Flooding?

Sounds like maybe you're not getting enough vapor? What kind of PV are you using? Did you try switching coil heads & cleaning yet?

I might be experiencing flooding. The centerpiece always seems to be flooded

Usually i would be able to hit my vape for 3 seconds and have flavor and vapor
I take a hit for 3 seconds now and nothing at all.
When i take a long vape i do have some flavor and not much vape.
im using 50/50 and i have tried cleaning it out. I left it to dry overnight. And it is has not fixed the problem

I've had really good luck with f16s and they are cheap through vaporbeast.

Yea, my Protank II won't be here until tomorrow but from experience with version 1 I can tell you - the first sign of flooding is decreased vapor production and little or no taste.

Find a nice place you can set the Protank upside-down so you don't leak juice, and unscrew the base. Next you'll want to use some tissue or napkin and wipe the stem off a bit. Now put the bottom of the base into the tissue (battery connection side down) and blow hard into the stem to get the excess juice out of the air chambers. I also usually check the main air chamber of the body section for any juice (also blowing into napkin if you find any).

Replace base and vape on

Side note: as preventative maintenance just keep your tank filled 3/4th or topped off AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE. It should help to decrease flooding and give you the best experience with your Protank.

I've also tried that.
I put this tank on my friends zmax and had the same results until i turned the watts up
But I still had to take a "longer than usual drag"

Hmm, in that case perhaps your coil is a no-good'er. Do you have a spare to replace it with? And if you removed any flavor wicks you really should put them back on or not remove in the first place.

I've tried a brand new head and had the same results maybe even worse with 2.5ohm
Currently using 1.8ohm.
I did not take off any of the flavor wicks.

Mine is on its side all the time.... Never a problem. With the new head did you leave the rubber grommet on that sits at the base of the post? Just touching the wick. I know sounds dumb but I had a friend that thought it was their for packaging and shipping and he threw it out and his was flooding.

Hmm... what PV are you using out of curiosity and what voltage/wattage?

What I always do is dab off the bottom of the Protank with a paper towel, then I blow a quick breath up the Protank from the threaded side. Then I stick a little bit of paper towel in the middle of the drip tip and under it as well. Give this a shot, I think it'll help.

My rubber piece is on there. Do you want mean it has to be just touching it? or tightly on the base?

I have an ego vv v2 mega and i have it on 3.1v

Ill try sticking some paper towel in the middle of the drip tip right now too

3.1v is awfully low, what are the ohms of the Protank?

For ohms 1.7-1.9 suitable voltage is 3.1-3.3
I kept it at 3.1 when i first got it and it was surely enough to get flavor and enough vape.

I did some adjustments and have great vapor with semi-taste.
But i still have to take long drags to be able to get those results
Compared when i used to take a 3-5 second hit and have amazing results.

I guess it depends on the flavor a lot too. Did you try and blow up through the Protank from the Threaded side? Not a super heavy blow, just a short burst.

Have too take too long of a drag!

I do not get a throat hit as usual
When i do vape for about 3 seconds I do get some vapor.
