Pro Tank 2 Using A Lot Of Juice

My PT2 runs like a champ. More juice? Yes. More vape? Yes. By the way. I put on a Aspire BDC head on my PT2 today using parts from the new Anyvape's Davide glassomizer. Love the Aspire heads but but the PT2 looks so much better then both the Davide and the Aspire Vivi.

I often get a burnt taste, even with new coils..
This means the juice is not wicking fast enough for the power you're using. Among the things you might adjust are:
* If you have a variable voltage (VV) or variable wattage device (VW), turn it down some.
* If you do not have a VV/VW device, use a coil head with a higher resistance.
* Remove one or more of the extra "flavor wicks" from the coil head.

I like my Protanks but ended up in much the same boat. Not really interested in DIY, although I will dabble soon enough if I can get at least one flavor I enjoy.

As great as it is to be able to carry your PV around, pick it up and vape at any time and put it back down without worry... I just wasn't happy with how much juice I was going through. Seems to be much better with the Protank II, though. I naturally ended up using RDAs as I'm a "flavor chaser" but let me just say - I get TONS of vapor, amazing flavor (so much better than BCCs), and I go through 4-5x less juice even though I vape much more. A 30ml bottle will last me a month, granted, I usually drip with many flavors throughout a day.

If you vape a lot in and around the home, highly suggest looking into getting a decent and affordable RDA, learn how to wrap some micro coils and install cotton wicks... you will be surprised in many ways by the quality this setup can give you.

Makes sense and yes the majority of my vaping is done lounging at home. Soooo.....any suggestions on a good RDA?

PT2 definitely uses more juice than cartos. Found my sweet spot at 5.3V with 2.5ohm (registered at 2.6) head. On day 3 it went from vaping great to nothing. The mod was working fine but it no longer registered that anything was attached. Changed heads and back to vaping great.
As of day 4, I've gone through about 25ml of 50/50.
If it is a matter of expecting only a few days per head, that is fine with me. I'm just glad I finally found a clearo that doesn't leak for once. So far, that is.

I found another issue with the PT 2. Seems that it is well documented on the web that if it tips over and lands just right the bottom threads break off in the battery. Guess what....it happened to me today. I had to order a couple of new bottoms. I was a ..... getting that piece out of the battery. Just a heads up for you peeps.
