Pro tank 3 atomizers question

Ok I use the PT3 on the Volcano Lava Tube. Now how can you tell or know when to change out the atomizers? Do they just go out and no longer burn? I have noticed it takes more volts from 3.4 now to 4.6 to get the vape . I checked the ohms and it has gone from 2.2 ohms to 2.9 ohms..guess its time right?
On average how long do they last the Kanger atomizers? This one is like A month old maybe 6 weeks.

You will get varying answers on this subject, but it's really up to you. I replace coil heads and cartos when I 'feel' they are not performing as well as I would like them to, and I wash and save them as my last resort back ups.

you may soak it in whole grain alcohol/everclear for a night or 2, then rinse and dry burn it, to get caked on stuff off
check out a couple of youtube videos on how to do this.
I generally get an off taste when they been used for a time, that's when I do the steps I mentioned. Sometimes they work, other times the coil is just too gunky and breaks when I dry burn, but most times I get the gunk off and can use the coil for another week or 2, then it's time to recoil or get a new one.
