If you're using it to thin juice... you only need a couple of drops anyway. I don't usually bother with distilled water... but if it concerns you...and if you don't have any...

Put a small to medium pot of water on the stove, with cover. Boil. Extract 5 drops or so from condensation on lid. That's more than enough to thin 30 ml.

jj's correct... it's very inexpensive to have a gallon of it around if that's what you wish to use.

I use plain tap water for everything... and I have hard water. The point being, not that I tempt fate, but rather that we are constantly leaving flavoring residue behind with e-juice anyway. The impurities from the water are minimal since there isn't much of it, so it's largely moot.

If you want to have an atomizer last a year.. maybe use distilled water or occasionally use vinegar to rinse it. I only keep them a month anyway, and change them out. Cartos last even less time than atomizers. Meh.

Distilled water is water that has many of its impurities removed through distillation. Distillation involves boiling the water and then condensing the steam into a clean container.

I use distilled water and buy it by the gallon. Not that expensive. :)

Yah, I know.

Funny thing at the time my wife was going to the store to get sugar. She asked if I needed anything and I said no thanks, and merrily went back to cutting with tap water.

I have what i assume is a roughly average I.Q. But. sometimes I'm just not too bright.

I find it difficult to believe that any minerals or impurities in your water (assuming it is potable) would bother your atty. You would have to vape pure water to do that. Water contains organic material along with any minerals or inorganic matter. Any time you store water for a period of time, it is possible for these impurities to actually begin growing; think of the algae that tends to grow in a pond, or even in your waterbed if you didn't add any chemicals. To me, the biggest danger would be these organic impurities that may begin growing in the juice. You would think, though, that the concentration of nicotine should be detrimental to the growth of some of these, but hey, it comes from a plant.

I use regular tap water most of the time though. If any juice I have gets old and starts to look or taste funny, out it goes, just in case.

My wife has a truck she uses for work. Inside the truck, besides the two batteries that start & operate the truck, there are eight batteries that operate an inverter to make 115V. Those batteries get charge every coupla days. They use distilled water about once a month. So, we always have distilled water around. But, that reminds me of battery acid, so I thin with Everclear! Everclear adds a little throat hit & distilled water doesn't.
