Problem at 5v but not at 3.7?

I have 2 juice boxes i made, one is a 5v and the other is a 3.7
The 510 I was using on my 5v was working fine until one day when I took it off for a cleaning
Now it only works on my 3.7 and not on my 5v
Anyone might know why it would be unresponsive at 5v and not at 3.7????

Might not be the atomizer. It's possible the center post on your 5v device's battery connector was pushed down while you were cleaning it. You can try to pull it back out slightly with a pair of pointy tweezers. Or, you could have pushed the center post up into the atomizer itself.

Another reason is that if your 5 volt mod has a regulator, some of them shut off due to an over-current protection. If you put an LR atty on some 5 volt mods, they shut off and won't work till you disconnect everything then start again with a stock atty.

So maybe playing around with the atty reduced its resistance in some way and took it down to 2 ohms or less. That would mean it draws more current, and causes the regulator to shut down.

You could maybe check the atty with a meter. Without a meter it's hard to diagnose anything.
