Whats up, can anyone tell me if V4l is out of batteries or why I'm getting this "product no longer exist" message when I try to add any batteries to my cart. I didn't have any problem adding packs carto, but only when trying to add batteries.
I was trying to place an order during the Friday13th sale and was wondering if batteries were all sold out. I guess I will have to wait till labor day sale now.:(

I had the same problem with everything I tried to order. I was trying to place this order during the sale, the sale had not ended. I emailed CS and this is the response I recieved :

Hello,

Try deleting the cookies and restarting your browser.

We are aware of the issues and are working on it.

Regards,
Robert

Never was able to place an order, oh well.

Kinda of Crappy to have a sale but cant put anything in your cart is BS.

V4L uses a hosted shopping cart solution (aka software as a service), meaning the core code behind their cart is out of their hands. Most SaaS vendors are constantly tweaking their core code, releasing small "bug fixes", which sometimes create new (often bigger) bugs. I manage a similar ecommerce operation at the day job using a SaaS solution, and while it can have a ton of advantages, it can also be a nightmare at times.

I guarantee you, V4L ise a thousand times more ...... than you that this is happening. A bug in the software may be interrupting your supply, but its interrupting their livelihood. ;)

Thanks for the explaination and like you said "V4L is a thousand more times more ......" than we are. As we know there will be more sales and we can get that 10% anytime if there isn't a sale going on so I wasn't too upset that I wasn't able to place my order.

Thanks Steve I didn't see your post before I posted mine. V4L is the Mostest, even though I don't think that's a word :2cool:

Exactly my thoughts. Although I decided to let it go since it will fall on deaf ears. Only so much beating ones head against a wall one can enjoy doing, ya know?
