I've always preferred the Q2 coils in my Baby Beasts for just this reason. I have an RBA head in one of my two BB's and its flavor production beats the multi-coil monsters, too.

I get better flavor at 40-ish Watts with airflow partially closed, and the RBA is built with SS coils at about 0.40 Ohm's. Temp control keeps the dry hits at bay.

The RBA tank is the only BB in my rotation right now. I have other tanks that are as good or better flavor producers and use less juice.

Don't have any beast tanks....but I agree that more coils only mean more coils. A single round wire SS coil in any if my rtas or rbas work great. Lots of flavor, lots of vapor and not a lot of power. I've played with duals and triples and all that stuff....but it doesn't ever stay in the rotation. All the fancy stuff gets pulled in an hour or so and I go back to simple builds that work better. The only drawback is people treat me like common folk when they see my build. Lol

I found a Q2 coil under my bed lol... and im vaping at 65w with amazing flavor.

Also with the new coil I have been vaping at 45watts and still no flavour

Glad you found what works for you, so go with it!

But curious.....did you ever get the new T8 coil up to 55-60 watts and use it there for a while?

Yes. I used it all last night on 50w and no flavor. I went to 80w as well and I could not taste anything. I jumped around so many diffrent watts. I think its just that coil. I'm just so happy I found a Q2 under my bed... I'm currently vapeing at 52.5

I gotts admit, this one leaves me scratching my head. Just to summarize, at least 2 T8 coils give no (or highly muted) flavor at any wattage, but Q2 in same set-up with same juice gives you good flavor at a range of wattage. Please check back with your friend you traded coils with and report back how they worked for him. If they don't work for him, gotta think some bad coils (no idea what could cause no flavor, but...). If they do work for him, I just don't know.

I guess, if nothing else, this should be a good reminder that we all have different likes and experiences. While it is all well and good to share those likes and experiences, thought should be given before proclaiming everybody else will have the same/similar results with that juice/gear/brand. To each his/her own.

Glad you got it working for you! :vapor:
