Got my replacement connector and it looks ok. Might change out a few things for nickel parts to get a two toned aluminum look.

At first the collector tank would not screw all the way down on the nickel connector but with a little back and forth working of the connector it finally broke into the part of the threads that had evidently not been touched before and there was debris in the threads of the CT. it appears that the nickel one has a little more threading than the original aluminum connector. And it is tight, no air leaks there, glad that hole is there so I can undo them untill the nickel gets broke in and threads on easier.

Where do we buy for 10 euros?
Through Bruce? COV?

Talked to Bruce and asked for him to send a picture of a Nickel Connector on a Aluminum section of GGTS and this is what he sent.

I asked if this was Nickel or Steel and have not heard back as of yet.

Does anyone else have a replacement nickel connector that is smooth like this?

Also this is a little off subject but I tried to put my Aluminum Collector tank on my SS connector and it will not go on. It starts to thread but it seems it bottoms out half way down the O-ring.

Has anyone else tried to do that? Did you get it fully on?

Hmmm. While I like the thought of being able to use 510's, the look of that is a little off to me. I like the knurled look of my aluminum connector! But still,, that is truly a masterpiece! And, it WOULD look good with the extension sleeve I got, courtesy of a truly great member on here (you know who you are!!!). :)
