OK so I got the urge today to damage something so I took the Dremel tool to my GGTS and reemed the inside out so my 18650's would fit in it.

Cleaned it all up and re-assembled it, 18650 dropped right in, screwed on a 510 atomizer.

HOLY SHIZA! This is like smoking 6v on a 901! I know a lot of it has to do with the 510 being a low resistance atomizer to begin with, but I'm still surprised.

I don't know why you had to take a tool to it because the tenergy 18650 fit fine. I always use the 18650 and a 510 no other way to go. Imeo we are waiting for the fix for the leakage. Seems to only happen with the 510 because the pin in the middle has to be out all the way on this. Hurry please.

My daughter was having a bad leaking problem with her GG Storm. I looked at it and she had a 901 adapter on an 801 adapter with her 801 atomizer. I took all that off and she was amazed that the leaking stopped. The girl is blond.

:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol: you are more than funny Stormy, I am on floor laughing:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

Wouldn't the effect be the same on the smaller 3.7 volt batteries I switched to, from the 18650, other then shorter battery time? I assume you are saying the 510 is the real difference, correct?

After 6 volt with Cartomizers, the 510 has been my next choice, over the 810 and 910, still learning, but the last two require constant filling of the cart, might as well drip in my opinion though I don't want to do that either, so my refillable cartos are my first choice until the AFS-2 comes out, hopefully that will make vaping less about constant attention of cart juice levels.

I've been so set on using the GG with cartos for the last couple months that I guess I lost sight of how nice the 510 works at 3.7v. But amazingly I'm still using a 510 at 3.7v on the GGTS this evening and still digging it. I'll switch around again shortly I'm sure.

Yeah, If I'm doing 3.7volts it is usually a 510 I am using.....High Voltage I go with a 801 (BE112 or JOye302) Seems to have the most flavor and smoke at high volts. I also like my AFS :D

Hey Rob, have you tried the new i3 AFS atty at 3.7V in the AFS?
I've found it's a lot nicer than the standard 901 due to the lower resistance it offers - much like a standard 510. :D

In the land of no hills and red dirt
I got mine last wednesday, and threw a 18650 (fit fine, btw) and my last remaining 510, and have been contentedly puffing on it ever since. Tried the 6v imeoatty with 2 cr 123's, and switched back to 3.7v. The 6v setup was all right (the imoeatty is a lot quieter than any other 901 I've ever used) but I'm good with my current setup.

At least, until the afs arrives. I'll have to try it at 3.7 as well for long term, hassle free vaping.

Thanks for the laugh. My daughter is blond and I'm always teasing her. I've suggested her IQ could go up by 30 points with a brunette dye job. ;)
