Im having trouble with my ce3 xl clearomizers.... Every time i try to fill them they leak all over the place... I followed the directions correctly, take the cap thingy off and flip em upside down and stick the needle into the hole, then squeeze the liquid in slowly....then i get liquid all over my hands. Did i just get some bad ones? I tried this on two different ones....

Hi Fishy!

I imagine you got those at my suggestion. I'm sorry you're having trouble. Out of 15 (so far) I've had one epically fail, but it was right side up. Have you got all of the air out of the syringe when you fill it? Inside the CE3 is a vacuum. If there is air in the syringe when you push it, the negative pressure will likely blow the top back out.

BRB I'm off to look for SteelJan's video about them.

Okay - this video is long, but has filling info. SteelJan has a lot of great videos, she even has some about making your own mod.

GotVapes Phoenix Bottom-Coil Clearomizer Review - YouTube

I like the CE3s because they're small. Other little clearos (CE4/5/insert current version), won't fit on my mod. If you like the vivi type tanks, you can always get a metal tube so the juice won't crack it. Or a small polypro tank.

I really like the CE3's I have only had on bad one out of 7 that I have used so far. I did have one leak some when I was filling it and I believe it was due to adding a little too much juice. When filling I fill to the ring just under where the wicks are when it it upside down, that seems to be the sweet spot that I have found. One other note if refilling make sure to either let the juice run down away from the wicks or shake it down otherwise the pressure from filling will push out the juice around the wicks.

So... After watching the video and being assured that im doin it right, i tried one more time... And go figure, fourth times the charm i guess. Haha. And i am now suckin on sweet cloves... Guess i just got a bad batch?

Glad it's working! I now have about 12 of these little critters full of different flavors that I can switch around until I like one well enough to put in a tank.

Bad batch? Are you kidding? Impossible! These tiny pieces of plastic are hand-made, one at a time, by Chinese children who sometimes go blind making sure the air hole is centered. Each one is a work of art....

If you hold them up to a light they often have interesting defects in the plastic. I had one I was sure was cracked, but it was apparently just a scratch since it hasn't leaked.

Thanks for all the suggestions. And ocelot, as always, thanks for lookin out for me, your input has been more helpful conventionally and confidence wise than you can imagine

I went to vivi nova mini's to avoid the ce3 leaking issue myself .

But the issue here was using something that wouldn't run the risk of being damaged by clove and other flavors. The only current option for that with a vivi is to get a metal tube, but you can't see the juice level.
