Hey Stefan, this what I feel like constantly as i chew tobacco. Oh, and tell Kyle to shut up. Little winer.

Lol what up bro, yeah the feeling has gone away completely since I switched to myfreedomsmokes.com's RY4... not sure what their mix is, but I don't have to clear my throat any longer. Plus, it tastes really good, so thats a bonus.

I have this problem too - if I enjoy just a few puffs of my VG-based stuff in the evening I'll have an episode of annoying throat-clearing the next morning, even after I eat solid food. I'll have to give that menthol idea a try, I can't keep making these noises at the office every morning or someone's going to get really ...... (I'm pretty much ...... already myself). I'd appreciate any other suggestions for how to "cut" that awful morning phlegm at the back of the throat without making so much noise.

And no, cutting back on the VG in favour of some PG won't work for me, as my lungs don't seem to tolerate PG well at all - I get stinging pain in my chest after I vape PG, which is much worse than the throat thing.

Maybe is your lungs that cleaning ?
Probably, but they're cleaning themselves of the VG itself, not of anything related to analogs, since I quit those 3.5 years ago. Any symptoms I may develop now will definitely be due to the e-cigs themselves, it's impossible to blame anything on the analogs after all this time.

Thanks, quasimod, I'll have to try that lemon gargle as well - this menthol thing doesn't seem to do much.

If you know anyone who chews tobacco you will notice that they are always clearing their throat. I think your problem is more with the nicotine than the base liquid. Do you get any eliquid in your mouth while vapeing? That could be the problem. I used to chew and know the feeling. I get it now when I get some eliquid in my mouth. Usually drinking some water will help with this.

My current juice has little nic in it - 10mg/ml - I wouldn't expect any problems from it.

Nope, not normally. It's only ever happened to me maybe two times.

Drinking water gives me very limited help, right now I'm looking for something closer to a complete solution to this. (At the same time, I'd like to give PG-based juices one last chance, as my first ones were Chinese and maybe there's something to be said for the quality difference between those and the new ones I'm getting from WordupEcig.)
