Problem with Ego Batteery

Ok so I originally thought I had the center pin problem but I followed the steps to fix that and the light stopped flashing. However I now dont think the battery is firing. The light works as it should but there is no noise or vapor. Can anyone help? Thank you this is my first post.

Well, from the other end of things: What happens when you put the battery on the charger? Does the fire button on the battery blink 3 times when it's connected to a powered on charger? If yes the battery is still ok. If not the center post isn't making electrical contact with the charger as well. (If you were too aggressive pulling up the center post you may have broken off the solder connection to the post.)

sounds dumb... but have you pressed it 5 times to make sure it isn't switched off?

If the light works as it should and it isn't firing then it sounds like the center pin is still down too far. Try pulling it up a little more.

What are you using as an atomizer? Is the pin on the atomizer pushed up? This is a common problem with Kanger Protanks and others.

I agree with gpjoe, most connection problems I've had were not the battery pin, but the atomizer pin getting pushed up. Not saying for sure that's it, but something to check out.
Also helps having a multimeter to diagnose problems quickly.

maybe the coil is bad..... try another atty or replace the coil in your present atty...

The battery doesn't make any noise when you press the button unless an atomizer is connected to it. The noise you hear is it heating the coil and the liquid sort of sizzling.

i agree to check the pin on the atomizer, pull it down just a bit with tweezers. You may not even feel it move, I usually wouldn't, but just a touch can make a difference. good luck, and welcome to the forum!!
