Cowtown, USA. Where the West begins.
I think you probably didn't prime the coil in the tank before firing it. Disassemble the tank, put a drop or two of juice down the coil chimney, wet the neds of the wick where it is exposed on the sides. Then reassemble the tank, fill it and let it sit for a few minutes. Then cover the air holes with your fingers and take a few drags without pressing the fire button. The object of all this is to make sure the wick it saturated with juice before putting heat on the coil. That first coil is probably burnt and you need a new one.

If you bought the kit they come with 2 replaceable heads, usually the Ni head comes installed & the Ti head is in the box.
You must thoroughly prime a new head, filling the tank & letting it sit won't do it.

Ni and Ti are for temperature control mode, first look to see which head you're using, then select the correct Temp control mode - Ti or Ni, set the temp around 350f, bump the temp up down to find a vape you like.

My experience with using those coil heads with 80% VG juice hasn't been good. The problem is the tiny feed holes for the juice. I find wicking simply can't keep up, leading to weak or somewhat burnt hits. This has been my experience with the Ni, Ti and Kanthal coil heads made for the ego one tank.

The evic vt is a solid mod. If you stick to the ego one tank, you can try using a thinner juice; maybe 50/50; however, I'd suggest investing in a different tank in you enjoy higher VG juices.

ahhh, it may be the VG causing wicking issues. try to water-down your liquid, one drop at a time, in a small 5ml bottle. try 3-4 drops of destiled water, per 2.5 to 5ml of your heavy VG e-liquid, the water MAY halp w/the wickin issues. ALSO, before u take a hit, u can try taking a hit w/out pressing the fire-button on ur mod, this will SUCK yer liquid into the coil-chamber. u shud see bubblez after doin this. GL with this issue, please feel free to continue asking Q's and feel-free to PM me with any questions/issues, for this & in the future. I'm here to help ya, bro. <3 welcome to ECF, welcome to vaping. Sounds like you need to go with a thinner juice or get another tank.

The holes for juice flow are only 1-1.5 mm across. The Kanger OCC holes are 3 mm acrozs.
