Hello, all. I have about 7 mini tanks that are close to three months old. I really only vape at the most 3 flavors at a time, but they have all been rotated and cleaned out about 4 times (vodka soak). At first I noticed that on some, the caps weren't as snug fitting. Then, I'd actually lose a cap in my pocket. That was fun. I took a closer look at them and they all have a vertical hairline crack about half an inch long. Is this to be expected? Kinda disappointed because my other brand tanks that fit have had no such issues. I really wish Halo's minis had screw-on caps. I know they're cheap, but since all of them have this fracture, I'm wondering if it's something I did wrong or is it an inherent problem with the tanks?

Yeah, I wanted to use mine as taster tanks, but to be honest, and don't yell at me, I actually prefer the draw on the minis versus the triton tank. Maybe it's because I used them first and got used to it. But, I find that the triton tanks are too airy.

Nobody yells here. :)

mini-tanks are more or less disposable like cartos. Triton tanks are great because that all-essential coil comes out and tips are now sold separately. Far most cost effective this way.

I used to like that tighter draw too and minis heat up quick, like LR cartos, which I grew to dislike. After trying a Triton will all 'dat tasty vapor, there was no going back. :vapor:

I have no experience with the mini-tanks so cant help you with that.....

....but as to the triton tanks being too "airy", consider as an expeiriement blocking one of the 2 airholes at the base with tape or your finger, see how you like it. If that is still too airy, you can block both holes and see how you like it, because if the tank is seated losely on the battery, air will still come in from the base... a tiny bit, even with both holes blocked.
