Hello fellas, im pretty new into this so i would like to have some little help and tips. Soz for my poor english, hope its understandable.

Have been vaping from above month. Im using KangerTech topbox mini starter kit. Firstly I started with the default SS coil, today i switched to Clapton coil but was pure disaster. When I push the fire button im literally slurping my juice with almost zero vapor. Got 0.63 ohms on the display.

Can somebody tell me what im not doing right?

I'm Not Sure if you did anything wrong?

Because there are Many People who just Don't Like multi-wire Coils like a Clapton in something like a TopTank Mini. I am one of those Persons.

As a General Rule, as the Coil has More Mass (Multiple Wires or Thicker Wire), it takes More Watts to Heat the Coils. And you are going to go thru e-Liquid Faster.

For a TopTank Mini, I like to use Plain Old Single Wire Coils in either 26ga or 28ga NiChrome 80 (around .6 ~ 1.1 Ohms) or 26ga SS (around .35 ~ .45 Ohms).

I get Lots of Flavor and Plenty of Vapor with them. And they Don't go thru e-Liquid at Light Speed.

ETA: I wrote all of this Thinking that you are using the RBA Section and building your Own coils.

If you are using a Pre-Made Coil Head, then I'm Not Sure what is going on. Because I don't use Pre-Made Coil Heads in my TopTank Mini.

It sounds flooded.
Several causes, too restricted airflow, base to head gasket loose, missing or damaged or old one stuck in base, using a high pg or to thin e liquid.
Disassemble, remove head from base, dry air chamber in base, make sure gasket / seal is in place on head and there isn't an old one stuck in base. Twist napkin / paper towel dry air tube/chimney & drip tip.
Install head into base firmly, thread together base & tank, remove top cap fill tank replace top cap.
Start off at around 22w with air flow fairly wide open, restricted air flow will cause them to flood.
I imagine the OP is using the stock kangar .5Ω clapton replaceable heads.
I've had no / zero trouble from the kangar .5Ω clapton heads.

Did you buy the coil or build it?

I am guessing you bought the coil (0.5ohm SSOCC)... in which case I agree, it sounds flooded.

Clapton coils require some ramp up time in order to get a proper vape. I build claptons that are .5ohm for me and up to 1.4ohm for my wife. A little trick to help you get a better vape is to slowly blow down as your heating up the coil then once you see a nice plumb come out of the fully open air flow then take your vape. If your pulling too hard before the coil is fully heated then all your doing is pulling too much juice into the coil that isn't going to vaporize but just flood. Like said before take the atty too bits, make sure all the orings are inplace and not ripped or torn. You also don't have to use the recommended wattage, thats usually too high and end up with burn't coil. I can run my .5 claptons with less than 20 watts and am a happy vaper. My wife's 1.4 claptons run @15 watts, she won't vape any other coil build other than claptons now.

Ok lets see what we can do here.
First, take the drip tip off the top of the tank. That is the part you put in your mouth. Set it on a paper towel.
Take the atomizer (the 'tank thingy') off your mod (battery thingy)
Turn the tank upside down and take the bottom off. Put the part with the glass upside down on the paper towel beside the drip tip.
Close the airflow on the bottom of the deck that you just separated from the rest of the tank. Remove the coil you have in it now, and set it beside the drip tip.
Take the deck that you just took the coil out of to a sink, open the air flow over the sink and run water through the top, then through both air flows. Shake it dry, and blow into the top to remove any water that didn't shake out. Set this beside the tank.
Wipe just the outside of the coil, mainly the bottom part, then carefully screw it back into the deck (the part you just washed). Make sure you now have the air flow holes in the closed position. The coil you just put in, should be snug and tight but not forced.
Next, carefully but the deck back on the tank part, be careful that the tube inside goes straight into the coil, and then tighten the deck into place. Again, firmly but not forced.
Use a qtip and clean the tube from the top of the tank. Don't go in to far, we don't want to damage the coil. Use the other end of the qtip to clean inside the drip tip if needed.
Turn your power down, open the airflow about 1/4 and take a small puff, then increase power until you get vapor.
From this point on, you can adjust the airflow for more air and the power for more vapor.

If this didn't fix the problem with the juice, I think you will need to replace the coil head. (little part inside the tank that you just screwed back onto the base before you put the tank back together)

If you have any problem, just reply to this message "more help please".

It is very important, that since this is a top fill tank, that you close your air flow off every time, or else the juice will leak out of the air holes.

You bugger. lol now i have to make a clapton to try it. Hope i can get the resistance up, all I have is 32g SS. The rest would be to thick.

Nope, no go. 32 was to thin to wrap around. Just kept twisting in the drill and not enough hardness to turn the swivels. :(

My wife's claptons are 28/32 kanthal, 5 wraps on a fine thread bolt I got at the hardware store. Rayon is the wicking, she burns the cotton wicks out real quickly. She takes double hits so she gives the clapton time to heat up on the first pull then gets her vape on the 2nd pull, I don't know how she does it without coughing. Her vaping style reeks havoc on cotton wick but the rayon holds up great.

Guess ill have to get some 28g. Or just use twisted coils. I have some flat kanthal that should work well.
I'm actually using a 3 strand parallel wrap in the mini rba. 6 wraps. vapes nice.
