Not a major issue, but has anyone else noticed lately that the ink on the labels of AVE juices are rubbing off? Just with regular handling, within a few days the labels are completely blank. Kinda annoying. With the clear bottles it's not a big deal since most of the AVE juices have recognizable colors, but it's more of an issue with the green bottles. Perhaps a new label is in order?

Ahh, they are thermally printed. That means the paper is treated with a chemical then later when printing, a small heating element heats it precisely to activate the chemical in certain areas. As a bonus they are easy and fast to print, but the down side is they are as easy to destroy as ... well thermal paper. Too much heat or moisture and they fade, blacken, or disintegrate.

The method will likely remain the same for awhile but we are working towards a differently printed label that might help prevent this side-effect as well as made the labels more comprehensive. Expect to see this change shortly after our move in a month. Hmm I'll upload of the new label so you'll know what I mean.

I'd love that, however, each bottle is made to order so we print the strength AND the flavor at the same time. The amount of rolls and organization required for all of that is intense. I am looking into one base label with a smaller area for per-bottle information (flavor/strength/ml) but I'll admit it's not a priority until after the move.
