Problem with my eGo-CTwist battery

I bought an 1100 mAh ego twist battery online, and I received it Nov. 4th. Today (Nov. 11), I went to class for a couple hours, and when I got back my battery wasn't firing. The button lights up, but it doesn't make that typical vaping sound and no vapor is produced. I read that the pin can get pushed down and it won't make contact, and that you just have to pry it up, but I can't seem to get it to come up at all. Is there anything I can do to fix it, or am I pretty much screwed?

I used a small jewelry screw drive or a sewing needle to pry the pin up.

Be careful screwing down your tank when you get it fixed.

Yup..don't hork down on the clearomizer, it crushed the center pin down and can actually short it out, usually though it just sits below the connector on the head and wont fire, the above is the fix (believe it or not it can affect even the high end rigs as well...when you tighten, as soon as you feel it contact stop tightening, might even have a bit of wobble on the head..but that's fine vs either pushing down the pin or stripping the threads)

Welcome to ECF. I have this same issue on Iclear16s. They are the only ones I have problems with.

Actually, I just fixed it!! I pulled the top off (with a bit to much force) and both the lead and ground wires came off. I suspect that the lead was already broken off of the pin, but I was able to solder both wires back on, soldering for the first time in months and probably the second time in my life I might add, and now it works. Thank you all for the advice, though. Much appreciated!

Ive had quite a few of these problems with the twists. Glad i still have my batteries laying around to try and fix!

Welcome! And make sure your eGo or any other equipment is the real thing, not a knock-off. Bad batteries can do terrible things! I still have four eGo batteries I've been using for a year!
