Problem with Provari!!

Hi all,

I have had my provari for just over a week and it seems to have died already. The menu system still works, and it shows that the battery is charged and I can vari the voltage etc., but it just doesn't vape.

When I press the button to vape, absolutely nothing happens. No error message comes up, no sizzling sound or burning smell... nothing. Yet as I said, the menu system still works.

I have tried a few different cartomizers and atomizers, all standard resistance, and none of them work. The same cartomizers work fine on my Echo device, however.

I am really disappointed that something this expensive, a performance device, has stopped working so soon after buying it. It was working great yesterday :(

Has anyone had a similar problem or has a possible solution? Am I missing something, or did I just get a bad device?

Thanks,
kiwivaper

Hi KiwiVaper,

Sorry to hear about the trouble. Check the AO option and see if you get a reading from the carto or atty. If it says OP then its possible its not making a good connection to the atomizer and simply moving the center post on the atty down a little should resolve. If this doesn't help just email us and well figure out the issue and get you fixed quickly.

Hi Gman, nice to speak to you again! Hope everything is going great in Guam. Thanks for your words of confidence. I really like the provari and was disappointed when it stopped working because it basically means that I will have to get it fixed or replaced which takes.... time! My Echo device just doesn't cut the mustard anymore having enjoyed (for a week) the superior vaping experience that the provari provides.

No worries, thanks Provape for your prompt reply. I will PM you with the details and any updates to the situation and work towards a possible solution. Just to qualify my situation, it is possible to turn the provari on and off in the menu system. However, the device is most definitely 'on' and the red light on the button lights up as I attempt to vape.

I will try pulling the cartomizer connection down as you suggested, Provape, however, I can't imagine this is the problem as I have tried multiple cartomizers and atomizers that worked fine yesterday, and none work today. FYI, the AO reads 1.3 ohms for all, whereas they would normally (ie. yesterday) read 3.0 ohms.

Thanks,
Kiwivaper

I have resolved the issue now with a little good luck and some help from David from Provape.

Interestingly, I didn't use the provari for 12 hours, and then when I put the tank back on and tried it again, it just started working fine. I don't know for sure what caused it to malfunction, but David suggested there was a chance that some e-juice somehow got into the mechanism through the switch.

So it's back to provari vaping bliss (I really do love the device - no complaints on it's awesomeness when functioning).

Many thanks to David for his excellent and prompt customer service - couldn't ask for better! :)

Some probs with my Provari.

It shows 1.3 ohm on any atty i take, does not matter which i take... always shows 1.3 ohm (at AO option) and does not fire....
what's the prob?

Typically when the unit does not fire and shows 1.3ohms for all attys we ask if the unit has been dropped or taken a fall? This is one of the signs of a damaged component from a drop. Email us if it continues and we can arrange to take a look at it.
