Problem with Quasar

Got a cheap Quasar clone from FT.

I'm having trouble capturing wires - it straight up cuts them. I cant mount coils because they're either loose if I don't tighten it down enough, or they just get cut inside the posts.

Am I missing something?

What do the screws look like? Mine are fine from ft they grab the wire fine...

Do the screws have sharp edges on the threads that might be cutting the wire. If so, you might try filing or sanding the threads smooth. You might also try going to a local hardware store to try and find a better screw in that size. Hope this helps you.
