I just picked up the Smoking Everywhere Gold today and already one cigarette does not work. whenever i put in the atomizer, it lights up red. not the end of it where it's supposed to, but the atomizer itself. it also gets hot pretty quick. i tried taking a drag and it tasted differently. when i put the atty into the other component, it works perfectly fine. what do?

You should return the battery for exchange. After you get it working, say goodbye to SE. You can get parts and supplies for your e-cig at a fraction of the cost that SE charges.
Your SE Gold is a model RN4081. Any 4081 parts will fit.
