Iv built a 1.0 coil using 7wraps round the small blue screwdriver that comes with just about everything.I'm used to using high vg but just gone and got some 60pg juice for first time in sub tank.at first I stuck two circle gauze in bottom of drip tip the gauze that's in the nautilus coils and it works but now after a quarter of a tank its stopped spitting.I do think I didn't use enough cotton as I'm used to higher vg.im using a yosen sx300 50w and using it at 12 w or 15 if I want a stronger hit, like in a morning

My rule of thumb that I use on my rba and others have put in here is twist the cotton and pull it through the coil so it only squeaks, not tugs the coil. When it is through pull it though back and forth a few times to make sure it is untwisted and fluffed. Cut the ends and fluff it out with a needle or the tweezers. With 60/40 you don't need to, but the "pancake method" works very well. Give it a shot. I use mine laying down on the couch and don't have any issues with it flooding... Granted I still get fluid under the drip tip after about 25% of the tank... but I hear that's normal.

Yeah I get the drip tip thing every half a tank but that's a mix of saliva and vapour that's condensed when contacted your spit, that's why its called a drip tip.most tanks arnt using proper drip tips, like the lemo,it connects straight to chimney.with thicker juices I use pancake method and I can lay down and chain vape the thing.haven't had subtank long but omg is this kicking out flavour like a dream machine.I love my custards, and the subtank has stepped up on any tank ,rba/rta ,rda and that's my opinion any way.how long you had your subtank and what pg/vg ratio do you prefer in the subtank?

So basically you can rebuild the rba subtank like kayfuns n lemos.when I used pancake wick in lemo the air flow been so big when I went to change wick I grabbed one pancake and it was only the pancake no wick in the coil at all, then the other pancake on other side dropped off that was first build I did with lemo.i wasn't a fan of the lemo, how do you compare it to the subtask.im not to fussed about massive airflow so subtank is perfect for me.
