The new mega-charger arrived some days ago and has been working as expected, but it has a problem that's driving my wife and me crazy: at unpredictable intervals, it begins emitting a fairly loud and completely irritating electronic "whine". This makes it so irritating to use that I have to unplug it, remove the batteries, and plug them into conventional 510 chargers.
Does this indicate a defect in the charging circuit(s)?
It happens often enough that the thing has become less than fully usable. It's difficult to describe the noise it makes. Suffice to say that it's very difficult to live with.
What steps are required to exchange it for a new one? Do I need to e-mail TW for an RMA, or the like?
