Woah, I feel lucky when my coils last over a week lol! Most of my cubis coils burns up around 5-7 days. But then again this could be because i'm using the eGo AIO where I can't change the amount of power being regulated. What kind of juice is your brother using and whats the watts he's vaping on? I intend to buy the cubis and a boxmod once i'm ready :D

I was curious about this so I looked up reviews... I'd recommend that you do the same.

Personally, from the way it's built, how to refill, etc, I wouldn't consider it.

For coil life, if you don't use heavy juice with lots of sweeteners, low nicotine, and get the settings just right to maximize coil durability, a good coil can last a good 2 week to a month. I've done it a couple of times, so has my wife and daughter, but then, the next coil might last barely a week.

That's true, but since both myself and my brother are going on 3 months and still on 2nd coil we are happy with the results. Admittedly, my DIY juice helps with extending the coil life, but our guy at the local B&M shares the same experience with whatever juice he is using also. Like said the results with the higher ohm coils were about 2 weeks and they were harder to prime. The .5 ohm has more open wicking;) Top refill is easy and the coils are bottom fed. I also get 3 weeks off of my TFV4 quad coils. It fills just like the Melo 2 with bettere flavor and clouds

hmm.. looking at it, maybe I looked at the wrong model, but from what I saw, the top is a screwtop which means that you have to put the parts down to refill. (the Melo 2, which is what I have right now actually, is a sliding door), so nothing to take apart). I've tried many decent tanks/coils and so far, I've yet to try any that really has any difference for taste.... cloud wise, I have no complaints, as it does do very nice ones...but then, I've been rebuilding my coils that have been better then the originals.

I had a "pro" check something out the other day with my mod (question about my rebuilt coil that I was asking), and first thing he said.. "damn, that's really good!, what do you have in there?".. so I think flavour wise, it's all good.

You are correct about the top, I have both the Melo 1 and the melo 2 Mini and the mini is screw top with tight air draw and melo 1 is good not great. Cubis still a decent tank especially for MTL that don't want the airier draw.

Melo 2 mini? there's none of that... you probably mean the Melo 3?

That one is a screw top.
