To be blunt. I would upgrade to a kanger subtank personally. Its a much better built tank with better airflow. Shouldnt be that expensive. Just my two cents. Aerotank is kind of outdated now.I have an eleaf iStick 30W set at 16W/5.5V with a kanger aerotank using 1.8ohm VOCC.
The problem is that I don't get a lot of vapour or flavour. Any suggestions?
Isn't the Aerotank for tooting ?. I am pretty sure it was never designed to produce a substantial cloud. And usually these tanks will only produce a decent flavour for a day or two at most. Then it begins to taste rather dull. Turning up the volts/watts isn't going to help. You'll just have to make do with what that tank is capable of, and obviously change out the coils more regularly if you can. Other than that there is no solution.

LOL... "tooting".
And you're right, while my Aerotank would kill my wife's Nautilus in terms of... cloud production, flavour, ease of use, air flow, refilling... aw heck, everything was better with it, it's simply not a cloud chaser tank.
But I'd go with a good week, depending on the liquid used and the settings. Some coils lasted me a good week, even two, others just a few days... the biggest thing with them is simply how small the coils one, but they are "tooters" after all.
Now, my wife and daughter (who's followed us into the realm of vaping) who both went from the Nautilus, to the Aerotank, to the Melo2, both agree (and I do too) that it's been a great evolution, and you look back and see how much better vaping has gotten.
Yeah, it's the RTA's that have taken off into the stratosphere.
My search for a decent tooting tank ended when i got my hideously expensive Kayfun V4.
Still hitting my Zephyrus with a quad coil assembly though. God that thing took ages to get the hang of. Damn difficult to wick. Got a good handle on it now though. Can even make adjustments when the tank is half full. Plenty of people found fault with this RTA. And you know how a tank can perform better when it's either full or half full or whatever ?. I only half fill the Zephyrus and so have no difficulty making adjustments when i need to. Well, i did need to, now though, i can wick this little pocket rocket with no problems. Plus i get fed up with an entire tank of one flavour, so prefer half tanks at a time.
When you say his cubis coils last almost a month, do mean one coil or the whole 5-pack?You may want to raise your wattage just a little. Maybe try to gradually work up to 20 -25 watts. If raising the watts doesn't help then I would think about getting a new tank. A decent inexpensive tank is the Cubis. Good Flavor, top fill and tons of vapor. My brother loves his because it does not leak and a 5 pack of coils is under $10. His coils last almost a month.
each coil, so a 5 pack will last him 5 months, unless he accidentally burns one. When you say his cubis coils last almost a month, do mean one coil or the whole 5-pack?
Woah, I feel lucky when my coils last over a week lol! Most of my cubis coils burns up around 5-7 days. But then again this could be because i'm using the eGo AIO where I can't change the amount of power being regulated. What kind of juice is your brother using and whats the watts he's vaping on? I intend to buy the cubis and a boxmod once i'm readyeach coil, so a 5 pack will last him 5 months, unless he accidentally burns one.
He is using the .5 ohm coil at 25 watts. I diy his juice 70/30. If you are using a really sweet juice it can gunk up your coils and they won't last as long. The higher ohm coils don't last as long either. We use ours on the Cuboid.Woah, I feel lucky when my coils last over a week lol! Most of my cubis coils burns up around 5-7 days.
