Problems running while being a vaper?

One of the reasons I quit smoking analogs many years ago is that I like running a lot more than smoking and I couldn't do both. Skip up to the present time *beep beep* <-- {that was my time machine. it beeps}

I'm still running but a couple weeks ago I started vaping cuz things I read say that maybe I can get away with having nicotine pleasure & the ability to breathe good when I'm trottin' around the neighborhood.

Like I said it's been about 2-3 weeks and I'm doing ok, but just ok. During My first mile it's a little hard to breathe. Lemme say the even before I tried vaping I didn't have good breathing. Maybe permanent damage from many years of analogs and breather cement dust, acid fumes at work.

But, so far I'm doing ok. Still running and anyway after the first mile My breathing goes to fairly normal.

Just wanted to know if there are any other Vapers that run regularly.
Thanks!

I was actually able to begin a semi jog kind of thing since quitting....which is strange, I wasn't a runner prior to starting smoking, and it was impossible to walk without getting out of breath when smoking. Now, I can walk forever and breathe easy, and when I do need to run (like catching a bus) I can do it and make it!

Take a moment and take a DEEEEEEP BREATH!!!! feels good, right????!!!!

Give your body time. As I found out, after a year of not smoking and vaping, I am (my lungs are) still healing from the effects of smoking. Keep up the awesomeness!

Welcome to ECF Alan

I'm a lot less consistent about walking/running the beasties because i got busier....but i don't get as winded, and i can take deep breaths without coughing. It sounds like you went some period of time without smoking or vaping, but that your lungs may not have healed all the way. Or the humidity or pollution are up. You could try varying flavors or PG/VG percentage to see if you're reacting a bit to the flavorings or carrier
