The new kit shouldn't affect the bottle in any way other than perhaps tube placement. If your tube is too close to the bottle side or bottom, it could be creating a bit of a vacuum. You can cut an inverted V...or ^ in the bottom of your tube....that should free up the flow. If that isn't the case, perhaps there is some blockage between the tube and the connector. You can unbend a paperclip and run it through the hole in the connector to clear any blockage. Just be mindful to remove the battery before you do this. Keep us posted.

I had a similar problem. As it turns out, a small amount of air was leaking out where the tube slips onto the connector. A little superglue did the trick. I have also had this problem when the o ring in the cap bunched a little and let some air out. Diagnostic methods involved taking the rm2 off and covering the catch cup with my thumb while squonking with the bottle empty.
