Seeking a more efficient squonk

I had the same issue with my Cyclones... I solved the issue with a larger center bore hole. The center of a Cyclone is a #54 drilling out one size bigger made a noticeable difference. #53 flows great until the last .75-1ml. I'm going to experiment with a #52 next.

Same here, would love a chalice, but definitely not paying that kind of money for one. I'd rather buy a new SL/LP. But with that size of feed hole, sure looks easy to squonk!

Glad I read this thread. Never heard about cutting an inverted V in the tube and makes total sense. I too was having a hard time at the end of a bottle and seemed like wasted juice cuz it wouldn't squonk the last part of the bottle very well.

Anyone have a pic to show of the V cuts?

The answer is: UGLY COILS!

An ugly coil wrapped around a double thickness of 3mm silica = much more wick to saturate. Just sayin'.

Cotton, schmotton....ugly coils on silica are the wave of the future!

Haha I'm a clean cool guy. I'm going to do dual 8 wrap nano coils on my bf trident with 28 gauge and try that. I'm on 6 wraps of 26 gauge around a 5/64 bit right now. Just gonna do the nano on a needle
