Hey all !

I'm using a Evod BCC for 3 months now. Lately, it's causing me a lot of problems. Problems that are going to take me back to smoking. To start, I get that blurping sound and liquid comes to my mouth. This happens so often, I have to clear my clearomizer, blow to my atomizer 3 times for every full tank. It's so often i stopped enjoying vaping. I found some solutions for this, but none of them worked. Including taking the silicon o shaped ribbon from old coil and putting it into a new coil, so the silicon would be doubled and it would be harder to leak. It didnt work.

I read that adding or removing wick may stop this problem but I dont exactly know how to do that. I think with higher PG rated liquids (like Halo) you should add one, and with higher VG rated liquid you should remove one. Would that help this problem? Or is there any other solutions you can recommend. BTW, I use 2,2 and 2,5 ohm coils most of the time. I dont know if its important.

If someone used Evod 2 tanks, i would like to know if they solved this problem. I'm reading most of the people using Evod's has or had this problem. Especially after vaping 1/3 of tank, its impossible to vape without liquid coming to my mouth.

And other problem is the vapor. I used to love evod's producing of vapor. I think thats about the batteries. I read that they are 3.7 volts, but when i use my voltage adjustable eMax, i get great vape at 3.7 volts. When i decrease it to 3.2 volts, i get the exact vape i get from my evod batteries. Is it because they got old, should i throw them away? Or should i try lower ohm coils. And would trying lower ohm coils increase my problems with the blurping sound and liquid coming to mouth.

I would appreciate every kind of tips about evod. It can be about getting more flavor out of them, or extending the life of coils etc. I dont want to stop vaping, i used to love it, but i feel like every part of my e-cig is failing. It's not satisfying me.

Thanks for any help, and pardon my English since im not a native speaker

You may want to either decrease the ohms of the coils you use or increase the voltage to 4.1-4.2 volts. This will create a quicker heating time on the coil and provide a warmer vape with less gurgling and eliquid escaping.
No matter what you use an occasional splash of ejuice is going to happen. (yes it sucks when it happens)...

I concur. I haven't found a Kanger tank that wont gurgle depending on fluid. You are definitely on the right track though. If you pull the atomizer out. You can wiggle the top (the stove pipe piece) straight off and see the coils. If your using a dual coil there isn't a top covering wick, its inbetween the coils, which are stacked. If its a single coil the top wick will pull right off, from the top. No coil attached. But it will still gurgle depending on variables. May I suggest moving to a dripper. I was opposed at first... carrying around juice everywhere I go. For that reason, I have a few Kanger dual coils tanks I switch out. The Nautlius download.jpg is a good tank with lots of airflow, and pretty good on not gurgling on a whole tank. I have been waiting for the new Kanger AeroTurbo to come out. Should be kick ...! I have found the more airflow the less gurgle I get. The dripper eliminates it all. It is advanced but easy once you feel comfortable wrapping coils. Just a suggestion. Sorry for not having a better fix for your EVOD BCC. I dont have one :(

Don't go back to smoking! That would be tragic. I just want to say there are other choices of equipment you might consider to enhance your vaping expirence. First if the evo D is not working for you , you may want to consider another atomizer. There are many choices of different ones that may be more of what you need. Also if variable voltage isn't giving you a big enough difference in your vape, you may want to move up to a variable wattage and voltage device. Sometimes in our vaping journey we grow and what worked before, just does not cut it for us anymore. There are so many wonderful choices avaible it would absolutely be a tragedy to return to smoking because one type of equipment isn't working for us. I can promise you there are things available that will enhance your experience. Don't give up because a certain type of equipment is not satifactory. I can guarantee their are other atomizers and even devices that will enhance your vape experience. You just need to try them out and see what's right for you. It would just be a excuse if you gave up and started smoking. I know that sounds harsh but with all the wonderful choices of equipment available there is no real valid reason to smoke again. Simply move foward and find something that can better meet your needs. There are many more choices of atomizers available and batteries for that matter..don't think all equipment is going to yield the same results.. there are many many options available to you !! So please don't give up. I'm sure you can find what you need . I've found in my own journey , vaping just gets better and better as I grow with different types of equipment. I wish you the best. All that said, you might consider trying some different equipment. I think it will bennifit your vaping expirence. It would be tragic to give up and smoke with so many things available to help.

My recommendations would be:

1. Long slow hits. Hitting too hard will cause flooding.
2. Increase power/decrease coil resistance. Vaporizes juice faster.
3. Drill out air holes to 1/16". More air less draw on the juice
4. Replace flavor wick with cotton. Not enough, continued flooding. Too much, reduced draw.
