Problems with GC Orders?

Good morning,

Has anyone ever had a problem having your order processed when you use a gift certificate? I put an order in on Saturday and used my GC to pay for it. By yesterday afternoon I had not received notification of shipping, and when I logged in my account showed the order still being processed. I called, and the CR on the phone apologized, saying that because I had used a GC it had somehow put my order on hold....??? He said he would release it for shipping, so I'm hoping it's now on it's way, but my order still shows as being in process.

Anyone know why a GC would hold up shipping on my order? Thanks! Just curious - never used a GC before, and with all my previous orders, turnaround time was always super fast. This one has me baffled. :confused:

Never used a gift card Ms. Neketa, but this is the first I've heard of someone having this issue. You should see a shipping notice today knowing V4L. Their customer service department is top notch.... :)

Thanks, and I do agree that their CS is top notch! I was not sure if there were some kind of special rules about using GCs that would have held up my order - seemed odd. They've taken very good care of me so far, which is why I'm surprised I haven't received a shipping notice yet. But I'm patient and still extremely happy with V4L to date, so I'm confident they'll get my order moving along. :)

I didn't have this particular problem but one time I sent a GC to someone and chose digital delivery. It took a whole day for it to go through. I guess I was expecting that with digital delivery this would all just be automated??

Anyway, it did get to the person and they were able to use it with no problem. v4l customer service is about the best out there and I know they listen to what we post here. Good luck.
