Problems with Kanger T2's! Please help!

Hey All! I've changed my set up a little bit since the last time I posted.
I'm hoping to get some advice on disappearing yummy flavour replaced by burning barbies D: I feel hesitant asking the store I buy from simply because every time I get mixed advice and it's both confusing and frustrating.

I am currently using a Joyetech Ego-C Passthrough Battery (650MAH) and switch to a Kanger T2 CC (2.4ML) Clearomizer, I purchased 2 Extra coils to swap back and forth between as well.

Day 1 - This new Clearomizer gave me an incredible taste, best I've had since I started vaping in June.
Day 2 - Roughly around midnight, Flavour started to disappear and was replaced by a burnt plastic taste. Thought it was weird since my old coils, without the long wicks, would last me at least 3-5 days before needing to be cleaned, I figured no big deal, swapped it out with a fresh coil, soaked the original for 30 minutes and let it dry overnight.
Day 3 - The new coil I'd put in started to have the same nasty taste, I couldn't stop gagging, It's the nastiest taste ever. I figured, Okay - whatever, took out that coil - soaked it, let it out to dry, and put the original one back in.
Day 4 - Burnt Plastic Treats all day long. 0 Flavour. I even try energizing it for 2 seconds before drawing and I still get the nasty burnt plastic taste.

My questions are;

Is this COMMON for the Kanger T2 tanks? Or for any other LONNNG Wick type coils? I didn't really want to use them to begin with, the WOMAN at the store I shop at said to stick with a bottom coil because the wicks would lose flavour a lot, but the MALE I spoke to really sold me on these new tanks and I figured I'd give them a shot.

Am I doing something WRONG? I'm still new to vaping, but I take immaculate care of this little unit, it's the only thing that's been able to help me quit smoking, I practically worship it. I do what I can to make sure I don't break it or do things the wrong way.

Is there anything anyone can suggest to get the flavour back? Burnt plastic might be good for some people but I really miss the vanilla i'm wasting away at the moment lmao.

Thanks so much in advance, you guys are honestly the most helpful forum i've been able to find, ever, and I always come to you guys now when I seek advice!

Hello and welcome to the forum.

Kanger tanks is a love and hate relation. You probably received some bad coils. But then again they vape great and then all hell breaks loose. Few months back before Kanger installed the longer stem on the coils, the PT2 would gurgle and empty out on the 510 connection. However I love their stuff now when it's working. The tolerances in these dual coils are loose and they do gunk up. Pushing these, it could be drawing too much or your juice could be acidic would destroy these coils. Very sensitive coils.

To be honest I would have recommended ViVi Nova's tanks.

Today's Vaping world, its all about what works for you. Ejuice has a big effect on how reliable these tank systems operate. Most vapers transition to RDAs or Kayfuns because of controlling the flavor and not mention the duty cycle of the coils they build.

Hey guys! Thanks for the responses! I actually tried the two coils with the Kanger T2's, and I had a smaller 1.2ML tank from a previous battery that still worked with mine, just didn't fit right any longer to see if it was the coils in general - and i still had the saaame naaasty taste. I even opened up a brand new bag of coils to try one and still had it.

Turns out? It was the E-juice! I'd never had that experience before, i've had the taste now and then on certain things but this was just... NOTHin, Nowhere, lmao. I managed to pry the tip off the bottle and sniffed the liquid since you'll get a hint of the flavor and it actually smelled like straight up chemicals, there was no vanilla in there! I have an apple flavor i'm not really fond of but I tried it regardless, and it pulled through just perfectly

The store actually replaced my bottle of vanilla after sampling it herself and realizing it was actually extremely freaking weird, we even compared the scents of a different bottle and that one and the newer replacement bottle actually had the flavours smell. weirdest thing, just chalked it down to being a bad batch, sooo glad it wasn't coil/battery related phew! crisis averted!
