I got two smok tech ce4's and when I used them I got great hits and I really enjoyed them. After a few hours though I noticed I wasn't getting good hits at all Anymore so I checked them out and found that they had been leaking into the battery connection. I cleaned them as well as I could, put em hack together and tried again with the same issue. What could he causing this? And how would I fix it?

P.s. as a side note I have a couple of clearos. I used one and loved it until the tank on it popped off the bottom and poured all my liquid into my pocket. Now I'm afraid to use this one again let alone the unopened one I have. Is there anything I can do to prevent that?

Mostly by trial and error, what works for one person may not for another. (even the same exact delivery device)

All liquid containers with holes in them will seep or leak at some point in time.
It is normal to find droplet(s) in the battery connection, with some devices taking lighter longer draws versus hard / fast draws will reduce the amount.

It is fine to keep using them, drying the battery connection occasionally is routine maintenance.

could be the problem

1) check the top of the drip tip, if its at a angle push the metal ring down.
2) Check the plastic inside cap if you have taken it apart lately if it to far up or down that could be the problem
3) the bottom pin, could be jammed to far in or loose.

Order new clero's
I recommend kanger products. t3 and evods are good. I understand the protank is good as well, but I have not used one yet.

Good luck

That's not really doable because it actually pools in the battery

Are you using pg, or a mixture? Pg is a lot thinner than vg or pg/vg blends and will leak, especially when it gets warm

it's 60/40

Can you look on another one to see if perhaps you are missing an o-ring?

I don't use those things anymore because I hate the leaking. Good luck finding something that works well for you.

I have one at the top and one on the bottom.

Are you over filling? Is your battery fully charged? It might be faulty. Definitely check that little plastic cap on top of your atomizer. Those are not known to flood!

Not that I know of. Yes. Maybe. You mean the rubber thing that the tip seals against?

Most of the cheap clearos I have tried eventually leak. Some right away. I've had mixed results with the mini vivi's too but they are a step up. My latest compact device is the kanger eVod. Works great and no leaking after I figured them out. With these you need to rearrange the coils before use to make them evenly spaced, and once the tank gets down to about 1/3 it's time to refill or it will start leaking bad.
