I've been vaping from drip atomizers with an occasional switch to carto tanks. You just can't compare the taste/vape quality of the 2. Enter Evod--Ba Bang!! I finally found a replacement for my drip atty with a small tank. Liquid constantly feeding so you don't get dry burnt hits. Taste of juice is identical to atty's while vapor to me is even smoother. I think it's just the leaking issues that we have to sort out now. I was thinking of getting a Protank, but based on all the comments here I will stick to my evod and use the harsher juices with the drip attay's.
Did the vape flavor improved?
I find ProTank really dry compared with Evods or T2's.

Flavor from evod is miles ahead of carto's and ce4's. I think it approaches flavor you would get from a drip atty. I did take out 1 wick though.
I was referring to ProTank not Ce4 or cartos.

It didn't for me. The only way I could coax flavor out of a KPT was to rewick with cotton and also go lower ohm with 1.8 heads. Even then, the flavor was only slightly better, so I've moved onto a pyrex carto tank which tastes like the EVOD now, but with much higher capacity.
I'm going to try that. Thanks for the tip. I heard so much good stuff about the protank, I ordered one and was entirely underwhelmed. It does have the airy draw I heard about. It's almost like vaping air. I like the vision vivi nova much better.
Ok so Im completely backwards here. I prefer evod heads in my protank but protank heads in my evods. It seems like the protank heads are not as airy in the evod as they are in the protank but just enough for my taste.
I glad you tried the protank to evod with success. I was thinking about doing that exact thing.
Did you have to modify anything or swap the stems to do this? When I got my EVOD I inadvertently got ProTank heads. I haven't had to change one yet.
I LOVE my Protank!! First I bought one and liked it so much that I ordered 2 more. Then today I ordered 5 more and 10 extra heads. I can't even imagine not ever having a Protank on hand

Kanger stuff is interchangeable. I never had a problem with the heads going from t3, evod or pro tank. Pro tank has a lighter draw to begin with. Good fixes have been mentioned above. Good luck & Happy Vaping
Vendor send me Protank heads by error for my Evod. At first I didn't notice but when I used them they had airier draw, lest flavor and leaked from the bottom. When I looked them closely I've found the stem was longer, the connector was cone shaped and the coil wasn't pushed to either side as it should be. Anyway, the Protank heads just don't taste as good as the Evod ones even tho the design difference is minor.
They have the best prices if you don't mind the wait shipping from china. They also have original boxed heads, too many copy cats around so for EVOD heads this is where I go.
Might not be an error. Evods are all shipping with Protank heads now. If your vendor already sold all their old evod replacement heads, they sent you the new ones.
I haven't had any problems with the interchangeable between the two. Last batch of heads I got I think are clones, not holding up well at all! They only seem too go a day or two then they short out
I've found that the solution to any issues with draw/flavor/vapor quantity on a protank (or any tank that uses the protank coils) is to rebuild the coil using a microcoil and cotton wicks
