Hi everyone!

I just got my first starter kit from V4L a few days ago, I got the ultimate XL kit (the one with two automaticl XL batteries) with an extra pack of blank coolcarts and so far, so good...mostly. I cant beleive the battery life on these suckers! One battery on a full charge lasts me almost two days of steady vaping! Nice! I also love how the usb carger and wall chargers are separate, I can charge two batteries at once and always be on the ready! ^_^

Now the problems, first off...what the heck is up with these cool-carts?! It's like they dont fit the batteries! If I screw them onto the battery, they dont reach all the way down to the base of the cross-hairs. Then they get stuck and I cant screw them off the battery. I have had to get some dude at work to remove the carto from the battery lots of times already. (I've got long skinny ET fingers that are apparently weak. I have to get my male friends at work to open stuff for me sometimes.) When I get the coolcarts onto the battery, it seems like they...just dont work! I suck and suck on the things, and in the event that i manage to make the LED light up, I CAN NOT get any vapor out of them!! I'm using the same juice in the cool-carts and the premiums (refilling the pack that came with the starter kit) and I have no problems with the premiums. So what's the deal? Is this normal for the cool-carts? bad batch (every coolcart in the pack does the same thing.) I was thinking that the cool-carts dont work so good with the XL's, so I've ordered a manual medium size battery thinking that will work better.

Now, my second problem- and this is pretty weird. I got an automatic passthrough with my kit, and I was looking forward to using it. Keeping my batteries fresh for when I'm out and about and all. But this passthrough...the damned thing is SHOCKING ME!! It doesnt hurt really, its just that when I touch the cartomizer to my lips or fingers, there's this very faint tingly, almost static shock sensation. It doesnt HURT really, it's just...weird! Trying to smoke the passthrough with this cold/hot vibration feeling on my lips. Now, I've never had a passthrough before or anything on a higher voltage. Question- is THAT normal?! I'll bet it's not. What can I do? Besides dumping it in a drawer and forgeting about it... I hope it doesnt burn down my house

Thanks in advance...

Hi,

If the Carto's don't fit the Battery, then the Thread on the Battery needs a bit of a sand. Read this thread: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/vapor4life/112279-cool-cart-not-fitting-batt-pt.html

I have noticed that the Cool Carts seem harder to drag on. I'm guessing it is the filler material, it may be thicker than the filler in the Premium Carto's. Or it could be that you are overfilling the Carto. Too much liquid can cause bad airflow. After filling the carto, blow out any excess liquid, and ensure the threads on the Carto are clean.

I've never noticed any electrical current when vaping. What are you plugging the PT into? Try plugging it into another PC (not a laptop). If it still shocks you, email V4L for a replacement.

Oh, Lovely! The passthrough shocks my teeth, too!
I've been plugging the pt into my computer. I'm afraid of what will happen if I plug it into a wall outlet (lol)

I probably wont e-mail V4L about this. The shockey feeling is oddly pleasurable after a few beers (lol)

*Later* Hey! The sand paper thing worked! Glad I wont have to waste a whole carton of cartomizers! Also, I gave my passthrough a little sand to make the cool-carts fit, and low and behold, no more zapping! Thanks K24A3!! ^_^ (man, what was THAT all about?!)

And yea Keyzygirl, though I've got the cools working now, I still like the premiums better. The premiums are definently putting off more vapor and flavor.

Thanks guys!
