Problems with vaping

Just curious if anyone else has had some coughing fits after vaping. I use a 50/50 18mg/ml mix and sometimes get a dry throat and cough after vaping

Yep, If I go brain dead and forget to drip I can get a horrid dry hit and have a mad coughing fit. Pretty normal in my experience.

You need to drink lots of water. The PG will dry your throat out.

If you are new and vaping the way you would smoke, this might be your issue. There's a technique to it ... *and* drinks lots of water!

Drink alot of water, and don't hit your mod like you would a cig. Take nice slow draws. I usually take 2-3 of these per hit. Draw slowly inhale, draw slowly inhale. If you pull hits too hard on your mod the battery/coil won't be able to keep up with the juice being drawn and you can easily flood your tank/coil.

You may also try a PG free juice, something 100% VG from Virgin Vapors or Heather's Heavenly Vapes. There is a small percentage of poeple, like myself, that are allergic to PG. It is listed as a humectant and irritant, so I'm not surprised.

When I first Switched to e-Cigarettes, I did. It was that Piece of Popcorn in the Back of the Throat type Cough.

I just about Gave up on e-Cigarettes. Because Smoking didn't do this.

Then someone mentioned that they developed a Cough but cured it by Using High VG e-Liquids. So I tried 100% VG and it worked. But the Taste was kinda Muted.

So I ended up moving to 25%PG : 75%VG. Works Great for me. No PG Cough but still some TH and Flavor.
