Sounds like you might have an allergy here. You might try eliminating PG from your mix and see if helps.
vaping.I vape at 1.3 ohms and 14 watts
Could try to cool down the vape a tad more by using around 2 ohms/6.7 watts.
Right angle drip tip would aim the vapor more to back of the mouth.
Might try different flavor(s). Try different Nic.
You will have to decided the need for medical care.

That has happened to me with citrus juices or with tanks that spit too much, change flavors and aim your drip tip as BrotherBob said to the back of your mouth, if you can get an anti-spit drip tip, even better.
I have never heard of anti-spit drip tips but these I will get thanks for that and for the advice about aiming the tip to the back of my mouth.

i've seen people report this & what usually winds-up helping is a PG reduced juice. You may have a slight propylene glycol allergy. you can also try reducing nicotine (which can be VERY harsh on the mouth/throat/esophagus & lungs) and you can try lowering the wattage to reduce temp & nicotine. I would recommend experimenting with lower levels of PG, & if that doesn't help, along w/ the nic + wattage, you might try reducing the VG and adding PG to the mix. Who knows? VG is traditionally known for causing "heavy lung" symptoms, while PG traditionally irritates the mouth, esophagus & throat. Citrus, Cinnamon, and other traditionally "acidic" and "corrosive" e-liquids could-be the culprit as-well.

Peety try vaping some straight VG 'till you get to the bottom of this if you must vape. Give yourself a chance to heal. Don't think you're vaping hot but I've had a bit of what you describe with some acidic juices. Moderate dilution with some VG can help with these if you don't DIY and must have such.

Good luck.

Thanks for this I normally run on 70 pg 30 vg and I will try 50/50 and I will definetly lower my wattage build and see how that helps.I will also drop down I think to 6 mg of nicotine and see how that goes.I really love vaping and all the flavors out there .This problem has only come to me this past while after over a few years of vaping and it is really getting me down,I hope some of this works. My wife had told me to stop vaping and I want to keep on doing something I love.

I tried to vape 70 vg and 30 pg before but had to thin it with pg to get it to flow in my rebuildables. But I know I can go 50/50 on them. Are there any rebuildables that can run good on full VG that you could tell me about,I would be grateful to hear about that.

Vape almost exclusively 100% VG since discovering early on I had a slight sensitivity to PG. But it did get really awkward to vape really fast. These days DIY lets me fine tune the PG ratio of flavorings as some result in a high-nic like sensation to me. Dilution as I said helps if you enjoy the juice. But understand if you live in a colder climate thinning helps. You might try distilled water or everclear as an alt but it will slightly hinder vape production. You really don't need much, say 5% for starters. As to hardware, a good symmetrical build and wire oxidation (if Kanthal) are key to stable temp and good output…so any hardware. I MTL and lung hit on every kind of device including low watt all VG like 15W variables and Protanks. So nothing to fear losing some PG. My PG sensitivity declined with time as I wrestled the ratio down btw. So now I can enjoy more PG based flavorings.

Good luck P. :)

May be the PG. Could also be the flavorings. I have similar issues with many/most commercial ejuice.
I Diy.
To see if it is the flavoring vape unflavored pg/vg with nic for a while.
To see if it is the PG vape high PG for a while.
Took me a week for my mouth to clear up the first go around. I learned the early symptoms and do not let it get bad when trying new flavorings.

My all day DIY vape is as follows.
5% CAP Vanilla Custard V1
2% CAP Vanilla Whipped Cream
.1% GNC liquid Stevia
50/50 PG/VG
Many like the Vanilla custard up to around 15%. I like it weaker.
Also I cannot tolerate artificial sweeteners which most commercial ejuice seem to have in them.

Yep I almost went back to cigs becuase of my issues with bought ejuice. But instead tried DIY. That was 1 year ago today.

Northern NJ native , Coastal NC now.
Fourteen watts at 1.3 ohm with 12 mg juice is pretty standard , i always vape 10 to 12 watts at around 1.5 ohm - 2.0 ohm .

Many people have sensitivities to most PG mixes and some just think mostly VG juices are the norm and really don't have any issues with PG .

I always recommend 50/50 because that seems to work well for most people and mostly VG juices are just way too heavy and really kill throat hit which i kind of like .

Glad you got it figured out though.

Use distilled water (doesn't take much) to thin it rather than PG. If you have an allergy your symptoms could get worse quickly. Better to be safe and see how you tolerate 100% VG.

Good news.I made a rebuild of 1.8 ohms and am running at 9.8 watts and am vaping 50 vg 50 pg and am having no mouth burning sensation. It feels great and a real relief that I can keep on vaping .It shows my problem lay with my pg and I also changed my temperature just to be on the safe side.I think my next move will be to go full vg and thin it with distilled water like I was advised. Thanks for all your help I am really happy now.
