I haven't heard anyone argue against 5v being the sweet spot, so that's seems to be
where I'm heading. Also, the 501 atomizer. But again, I'm checking around to see if anyone
has built a longer-lasting atomizer.

Not yet, no. If there was, the boards would be exploding with "OMFG FINalY!!!1!" threads. And yeah, take everything with a grain of salt around here. Too many ...... pretending to give objective opinions with false and highly biased info. All the mods are decent, otherwise they wouldn't have such emphatic supporters. You wont go wrong.

Personally I like 5 volts- It is the sweet spot. I also like LED's

This is one of those projects I won't be doing myself. Soldering? Oh hell no.

After researching, I'm going to post in the General section what I'm looking for and take
inputs on what device combo would work best for me. Good videos, though.
