Hello,

I have two friends that I recommended the Prodigy to. I am now very regretful that I ever showed them the site that sell's them. The Prodigy is an over-powered pv that will kill atomizers faster than a bug zapper kills bugs!! My friends have gone through 5 atty's in a week. I understand that these run at a much higher voltage and you need to be careful how long you keep the button pushed, but they are only taking about a 1 sec. draw.
This is a direct quote from the smallest printed, hard to read card you have ever seen that you receive when you purchase the Prodigy:
Please not that the atomizers leak liquid onto the base of the Prodigy, Liquid will pool on the brass fittings. Be sure to wipe them off once every hour or so and at the end of each use to revive the connection........
Am I the only one that thinks this sounds funny??????????
For one, why is the atomizer leaking liquid onto anything???????
I am trying to read the card that came with the Prodigy but I can't find a magnifying glass to help me........ Why is this card printed so small????
You can't say that it is to save money and space because there is still plenty of space left on the card.........

A cheap piece of paper with normal text would be appreciated.
The bottom line is, if you are interested in purchasing the Prodigy,
Make sure you know what you are getting into................

I am in no way associated with any vendor or trying to promote my own product, I do make mods and understand how these things work. This post will probably get deleted like my others but that leaves me to believe they only want to hear good reviews not the bad.
I hope this is the right place to post this.

ok seriously, Screamer? really? ANOTHER post repeating the exact same thing as all your other posts...that...have been closed/locked?

you aren't offering a review, you're blaming the product for your "friend" ruining atomizers.

as for your questions...ALL atomizers will leak. you realize they are open ended right? turn it upside down and see if anything drips out. Puresmoker didn't MAKE the atomizer, they made the Prodigy. the Prodigy device is a sealed design to keep that fluid dripping from the atomizer out of the battery tube, so your comment is pretty...uneducated...especially for someone saying you design mods and understand how these things work.

as for the instruction card, go check the Puresmoker subforum. that issue was addressed and was a bit of an unknown at the time that they would come out so small, and there's even a digital copy of the card now in PDF format that you can find there.

so really...your questions are answered.

as for burning attys, well, that sucks. hope your friends have spares.

also if you read this forum...you'll find that many many people have burnt up many many atomizers using many many devices, so the Prodigy is not the first device to be blamed for ruining an atomizer.

most people blame the poor design of the atomizer.

Atomizers leak on all devices and not just the Prodigy. The Prodigy is sealed at the connection and will prevent the liquid from getting into the battery compartment. (Unlike on most devices)

If the atty is vaped dry, or twisted on too tight, it will kill the atty. A dry atty will die on any device.

It sounds to me like someone who is not familiar with vaping or devices and has nothing else to compare it to. It also sounds like you're looking for reasons to complain by complaining about the instruction sheet.

Please sell it and quit starting hate threads! There are many out there who will love it!

My personal opinion is that negative posts are not well anticipated in the forums and end up locked or deleted one way or another... I`m not sure what is the reason for this and I don`t really care as I`m a regular user only but I really don`t mind reading negative feedbacks - they will not affect my future purchases in one way or another but would rather help me of being aware of the negative sides of each product...

Up to now I got not much to complain as I`m just using the best factory made products, that have received positive feedbacks from a lot of users.

Don`t mean to say anything bad, just wanted to point out that there is a "good" side in a "bad" review... that does not mean in any way that the discussed product is "bad".

Peace :D

I have never had an atomizer leak on any of the devices I use, and have never burned up an atomizer as fast as these things do.
I put my meter on them and they are putting out over 6 volts with new bats in them. I know you should be able to run that kind of power and other people are, but I doubt they are going through atomizers that quick.

My friends have been vaping for longer than I have and do know what they are doing.
Yes another post about the same thing because I really don't want people to buy something that may have issues, and every time I post trying to inform people my posts get deleted.
I really feel bad for my friends because I was the one that told them about the Prodigy.
This is the last time you will hear about it from me.
I have had some pm's from people that may be interested in buying them so at least they may get some of their money back.

Thanks!!!!!!

honestly screamer that wasn't a half bad response.

but still, you aren't saying anything new. there are plenty of posts in the Puresmoker subform about attys being blown, and i'd advise reading them.

me...i've been using a green (colored) 901 atty from Altsmoke for almost two months. i used it on standard 901 ecig batteries for probably a month, and then swapped it to my Prodigy for about 3 weeks now. yes, one single atomizer for almost 2 months.

it sounds like you know how to test your batteries, so maybe you should try discussing the issue with Steve at PS about it being well over 6v.

as for the impression that no one allows bad reviews, that's just not true.

ill advised reviews where a user is a novice with any device and simply blames the device instead of their own inexperience...well, that's not a review. bad reviews are what keep us from buying bad devices. again, read around, there are plenty of them in text and video.
