Found the dimensions of it in another thread:

Dimensions (Minus Atomizer):
4.5" L x .875" W (OD)

With an 801 atomizer (using one I have on hand at 1.875 inches) I've calculated approximately:
6.375" L x .875" W (at the widest)

So the case should be at least about 6.5 inches in length to accommodate the full length, 4.5 - 5.0 inches in length to accommodate it with no atomizer attached.

Has anyone considered what kind of travel case would work well with a Prodigy? I was thinking perhaps this one, but I'm not sure if it is large enough:

Amazon.com: Caselogic JDS-6 USB Drive Shuttle 6-Capacity (Black): Office Products

Hey, I have that case - got it from Amazon, too. Presently, I have five 801 atomizers, four 801 batteries, and nine cartridges in it. It's not large enough to house the Prodigy, but it makes a neat carry-along bag and it's just the right size for the lower, big pockets of cargo pants.

It's also just exactly the right size for the long 801 batteries.

We are awaiting word if the batterry pack will output at 5volts from the manufacturer.Targus ABE0202US Mobile Essentials Kit for iPod & MP3 Players w/Case, AC/Car Adapter, Speakers, 4 AAA Batteries & More! Targus ABE0202US, coupon code "MEANBARGAINS" takes 2$ off.

Damn, I obviously haven't been following the upgrades being made to the Prodigy closely enough! When did they integrate the ability to play mp3s!?! If I don't get external speakers, can I use headphones? ;)

All adapters and battery packs in this kit "that output power" do it at 5 volts. I do not trust anybody completely, yet another guy in the modder community also believe's this to work well at powering a passthrough. If you are an angry person lol, WAIT TILL I VERIFY this info. So besides the other goodies, you may have a batterypack for steve's AWESOME looking passthrough

my kit arrived,as promised BRAND NEW with a one year warranty. One problem the batteries are dead, and will not take a charge. Turns out this kit is DISCONTINUED and they were laughing that i got it brand new. I contacted customer service at Targus and they were very nice. They took down my info and promised an email back within 3 business days from tech support. So i bought new rechargeable batteries for 6.00 at wally mart. They are charing perfectly. So before anybody else buys this, wait till i hear the word from Targus from Customer Service on battery replacement. So far this has cost me 33$ with the new batteries, which i would have gotten anyway. Camping trip on Friday. If the passthrough gets here by Thursday, i will do a review on it to let everyone know how long it lasts.

I have been using one of these for months now. ZAP Portable Energy, LLC. RX4-C AA Universal Battery Charger

It senses the device its charging's needs ad supplys up to 6v. Works better than a USB plug. I even use it at the computer. Charge lasts a couple of days and only takes a couple of hours to recharge.
