Hello All.....

I had some time to use my prodigy v2 now, I have the 510 kit, the v2 it's self feels really great in my hand. Built soild and looks wonderful, after using it a while now my over all score for it is very high.

I would have liked some kind of stuff to grab on the SS though, not that it slide out of my hands or anything, but having a grab at times would of been very nice. I had 2 sets of battery's with the kit, and I got a 3rd one with the order as well.

1 set seems to last lots longer then the other 2, but a fully charged set good for the whole day, so that not really a problem for it. I've also noticed that the atom and cart, play a bigger role then I had thought they would, as the prodigy V2 worked very well the whole time.

The button seems to work great then at other times, it would seem to not want to push on right, but after changing out the atom and cart. It worked great once again, so it's really the atom and cart not meeting very good standards, that really gives it some problems at times.

I used the V2 all the time not using looking at my PT, it's really that great having, I just put juice and atoms, battery's, carts and what nots into my small case. It fits the V2 in it as well, and with my over shirt pocket it fits right in. In fact I can put the V2 in my pocket, right next to the case, to get to it fast and easy.

It has great vapor out put, and the flavor is very good as well, I can easy control the throat hit, when the atom and cart are working right. I love the 510 it's a little power house, at times I take to big of a hit and the throat pretty hard.

I will break things down, for anyone that may want to see it that way, that give my finally findings on the prodigy v2 kits. highest score is a 10, lowest is a 0.

1) Built: I can't find any faults with it, nor any limits that it has. SS and well thought out make it's a winning design, and 100% usable with out limits. Score 10

2) Looks: This thing looks as great as it's built, it grabs your eye pretty fast, but not so much that people just have to ask about it. I love that people see you got some thing nice, but yet are not going to stop and as about it. Score 10

3) Usage: Ya usage that what we get the ecig for, well this has no limits on it's usage, I can put this and all the stuff needed for the day. And use it for 24 hours with out worry's, in fact with the 3 sets of battery's I can go 2 days and nights easy.

Also it vaps very good, giving me really good control over my vapin, I can get more or less from one hit on it. Like in the morning, I'm looking for a few strong hits and it give me them, then I lean down then some times want stronger again. Score 10

4) Over All: Well the atom and carts are a problem, until they get some kind of good standard for them, we will keep having problems. But I'm getting use to it and working the bugs out, it's a real pain in a other wise great vapin setup.

But I can not blame the prodigy V2 for that, it a steady vapin machine, and I have not had 2nd thoughts about buying it at all. I may buy it's smaller brother, since the V2 is so good, having a 2nd smaller one would be great. Score 10

I'm loving mine too!! I only drip so I don't have any cart problems. If you're a dripper let me suggest getting a Super TTip from Super T Manufacturing. They work great. You don't have to take the tip off to drip. It's so much easier than using carts or having to take the cart off to drip everytime. I have a Protege also and love and still use it too. Now my Prodigy V1 feels left out.:(:D

Or if you want to save money, cut a hole in the end of a carto condom and put it right on to your 510 or 901 atty and drip away. Its just a silicone version of a Super T and its free and works great!

so, has anyone compared 510 to 801 for these things? Cuz i sent my prodigy v2/801 back. it got way too hot and burned all the taste out of my liquid. Only a couple hits got it too hot and even burned the cart. Blechh. I wanted 801 atty/cart cuz of the liquid capacity, as i have been using a regular 801 for some time now, but have been underwhelmed with the vapor output.

Too bad you sent it back. I would suggest you use the BE112 (an 801) atomizer from Best Ecigs. It's what many of us use instead of the standard DSE801. They work like a charm, hold up much better and can't be screwed on too tight like the standard 801.

Well I was gonna do my own review but I could just as well copy and paste this review. I got mine with the 901 and the 510. I have to say after swaping back and forth I think i like the 510 better. The difference this pv makes in flavor compared to standard ecigs is undefinable. I am presently going threw every flavor I have just so see what they Really taste like.

Does this make any sense? Ok......Long story short....4 attys that barely performed well..... 2 that were great...I got a V2..brought back to life the 4 that weren't performing well and now they vape like new. I LOST the two good ones though....Now, I'm vaping with one of the attys that works GREAT on the V2, but if I use it on my mega battery or a normal 510 battery it produces little vapor/throat hit....on the v2.....tons of vapor/great throat hit....When using the V2 as instructed, everythings great....No more switch problems since I took it apart etc.....but my cart is melting somewhat!!! I don't taste burnt plastic at all but when I take my cart out to top off, I noticed it's slightly melted...I'm NOT holding the button down for long periods, the atty is just luke warm...

It makes perfect sense. I also noticed that if I use an atty on my V2 that it sort of 'ruins' it for a lower voltage device (such as a stock 510 or even my Protege). So I just keep my attys separate. And I've also revived an atty I had relegated to the atty graveyard with my V2. It's working like new again.

Regarding the melted carts, change the orientation of the cart with the atty bridge. Align your cart with the ceramic under the bridge. I was suffering melted carts on my Prodigy V1. So, thanks for a tip in another thread, I changed my cart alignment (about 6 months ago) and haven't had a single one melt since.

Little V2 tip: I've been using 901s lately and notice that if I overdrip a little bit it leaks out of the air hole in the bottom of the atty and sits in the little juice well. Not a big deal to wipe out, but if you twist a small (about 3/4" long) piece of napkin or tissue and stick it down in the juice well wrapped around the base of the atty it acts as a "drop cloth" and can be changed out once a day to make cleaning a snap. No one want a dirty adapter!

That's what the "well" is for........but I hear you.

I really like this design with the "well" it was definitely thought out. :thumb:
