Been at this since Sept 2008 - in that time I have purchased quite a bit of stuff. Thought it might help some choose if I gave my personal verdict...

Janty Stick:
Lightweight, compact, powerfull, USB charge, battery charge fair/good...
Atomizers:
Classic 5/5, Janty 4.5/5 & 901 on adapter 4.5/5 - all give good taste & excellent vapour.
510 (Titan & Dura-C) on adapter - too hot, no taste & burnt lips! Attys leak like there is no tomorrow!! 1/5

Bearing in mind the issues that have been mentioned with the JS, I have wrapped electrical tape around mine to keep it all in place and so far so good. Impressed & recommended if the issues can be sorted out.
Overall Score 9/10 :thumb:

Screwdriver:
Well built, solid & reliable. Good/excellent battery life. Mine is one of the first to be made. Done a lot of mileage :)
Atomizers:
901 on a fresh battery gives loads of vapour and plenty of "taste"!
Continues to be excellent as battery loses charge.
Impressed & recommended.

The lack of USB is the only drawback. A USB like the JS and this would have been a 10/10.
Overall Score 9/10 :thumb:

Janty Kissbox:
Had mine quite a while and still gets regular use on the passthrough. Issues with the auto switch but the manual switch is fine.
Atomizers:
Classic 4/5 smooth vape.
Janty 4/5 bit harsher vape, seems to get a bit hotter.
Worth having, although a little pricey.
Score 7/10 :)

Titan 510 & Janty Dura-c:
On passthroughs...
Nice vapour for about 3 drags then they get too hot. Need asbestos lips with these for sure. Very dissapointed after all the hype. Attys leak, taste is poor after the first couple of drags on a cold start.
I have wasted my money on these for sure.
Score 2/10 :nah:

Standard mini (901 & variations):
IMO give the best taste/vapour ratio of any I have used. On the SD or JS(adaptor) they can't be beaten for taste. Carts are small but using 510 carts has helped if you can get them to fit snugly.
On a standard battery Score 4/10 :)
On a SD or JS 9/10

Standard super mini:
Waste of time - don't bother!
Score 0/10 :nah:

Standard Classic (801):
Great smooth taste from the ones I use and on a passthrough well worth having. I use these on the KissBox passthrough.
Score on a passthrough 6/10

Notes - standard batteries that come with these e-cigs are a total waste of time. Use them for adapter mods!

A passthrough, a SD or a JS (or similar) are the only options really!

I'm sure some will disagree with me, but I hope my run down helps some newbies choose kit that is gonna do the job and not waste money on stuff that will be left in a drawer after a week or two.

I use the Evolution (black) and Titan 510 exclusively these days and can't really decide which I think is the better of the two. I alternate between the two throughout the day, every day and I love them both. I think possibly that the first Titans were a bit dodgy in that they often seemed to get scaldingly hot and had leakage problems. Mine doesn't at all and I have had it about a month with constant use. By alternating the two models, I get great battery life out of the Titan and generally use one Titan battery a day at work. It usually gives up finally a few hours after getting home. As for the Evo', well it is well known that the batteries last for hours at a time.
I have been vaping since last October and have used the super-mini, 901, 801, Evo' (white), Evo' (black), Pilot and Titan 510. The taste from the Evo' is better than the 501 though, imo. The vapour is greater from the 510 over the Evo', but not by much. For value for money, it has to be the Evo', especially with a properly broken in atomiser (which does take a day or so). I have had the black Evo' since January and ALL my batteries are still working perfectly and ALL my atomisers are working perfectly...no cleaning, nothing. (Actually, so are the white ones. I haven't lost a thing from anything Evo' and I am still on the original atomiser from last November). I do really like my Titan 510 to bits, which is mainly for the tons of vapour it gives.

Thank you so much for this. I have been wanting a longer-lasting battery and have even though of getting a PCC (which I'm sure I will, eventually) but, for now, I think I'm gonna give in and get a screwdriver.

I reckon you will have made a good choice and have no regrets with the SD, or the JS (if you get a good one!).

:)

Do tell how you did this please. I tried to make one last night but ended up wrecking a 801 atty.

I knew someone would ask :)

I used 2x dead 801 attys, 1x 510 battery & some metal epoxy putty.

Leave an inch of casing on the battery and use a full 801 atty tube...

The process to wire it all up has been explained before so I won't go through it again..

Is the Evo known as something else? I went to the model specific forum and didn't find mention of it. I have been hearing/reading good things about the Evo and thought I'd do some research.

Thanks!

So let me get this straight. You made a 510 adapter for the Janty Stick and it leaks at the adapter.

Thanks for the input, but how can you review the JS 510 adapter without owning one?:(

I could make my own GG and then claim the GG is crap?

Enjoyable post to read, but somehow leaves a taste of something in my mouth.....let me try to review THAT. :D

Perhaps you should read my message again - a bit slower this time.

I especially like the part where you claim you need 'asbestos lips' to use the 510.

Bahahahaha! Too funny dude. Thousands of 510 owners with asbestos lips! You must be a fragile kinda guy.

At least I can understand english. to$$er

Hi, notsmelly,

Great write-up, and I'm sure that some newbies as well as some of us "recents" will benefit from what you've experienced. Thanks for taking the time to relate this.
